Leading up to the settlements, Wells Fargo retained a third-party consulting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers

(PwC), to conduct large-scale data analysis of more than 94 million deposit, credit card, and unsecured line

of credit accounts opened from May 2011 to mid-2015 to evaluate whether customers may have incurred

financial harm from potentially unauthorized accounts.
