I can’t see all of the pieces yet. Running on the assumption their only play is to drag it out in the courts. We could’ve arrested the whole lot of time and stopped this prior. There is a reason why we didn’t. The precise calculation was made. Balancing act. Again.
We squashed the riots by gently easing our way to victory instead of clubbing them over the head like we could have. It would have cost more (collateral damage) to do that. Just to prove something? We can do that later in the history books. We are saving lives by winning gently.
