This is how I'm reading it.

Dems (globalists) had to believe they could still steal elections (and continue globalist agenda) using sleepers in crtitical positions and corrupt media to sustain a false narrative.

Think about why people like Fauci and Wray and Haspell were kept/put in place and why DJT appeared to trust them.

Globalists had to take the bait to be caught in the act. This could only happen if they believed DJT had been successfully controlled by their operatives. He played their game to perfection. It was all a trap.
