My uncle was a Vietnam vet who saw combat often. Harley owner and Nascar fan. Was a product of the 60’s.

He didn’t talk about the war often, but when he did I listened. He said you know war has already begun when the your hear the drums. I think I hear drums, and I would bet I’m not the only anon here that does too.

When he was in a caravan in Laos, he saw shit you just don’t see in war today. In war today, it’s bombs and bullets. Back then, it was a legitimate concern whether or not the fucking bushes began moving. Ambushes in the night from the jungle. War was just different back then.

Anyways, he went on to explain how soldiers win wars. When they know their leader isn’t just sending them to death, often times over nothing, they have faith in their mission better than any religion could provide. It’s because it shows that their leader is seeing the situation as you are, that his decision to send you because he knows you’re going to succeed gives you confidence under fire.

It’s gotta be unnerving to not see any posts from Q. I wanted to share this story because I would like to hear from Q to boost morale. It’s important to give morale in war, and proper morale at that.

I think some of us are due for a good kick in the pants.
