Watch the Water = Aqueous coating?
It’s original intent used in printing—Aqueous coating is a clear, fast-drying water-based coating that is used to protect printed pieces. It provides a high-gloss or matte surface that deters dirt and fingerprints. … Aqueous coatings provide more substantial scuff-resistance than varnishes.
Question for chemistry fags: I wonder if a chemical can be added to the aqueous coating that would show up under a special UV light.
Spot Varnish is used to highlight an area on a printed piece of collateral. A spot varnish uses UV light to cure the varnish.
What if the aqueous coating had isotopes added that when put under a special light would show up and validate whether or not a ballot was official. Think I’ve light used in a room to light up blood splatter on a wall or in a carpet at a crime scene.
An aqueous wash can be just a strip across the ballot or over a logo or even just a box in the corner mimicking a spot varnish.
This may be how they will be able to weed out illegal ballots.
