Yeah, gold/silver/bitcoin is good to have a bit of, in case of a collapse or reset of some sort. I don't see a need to go all in on any of them.
I'd guess this (as others have said):
-Ballots are marked somehow (invisible ink, etc.)
-The number of ballots is carefully controlled.
-All ballots can be accounted for in legit states like KY and TN
-In fraudulent states, massive discrepancies reveal everything
