See, this is the kind of trauma that everyone understands. It's simple math and We the People cannot fathom how it can't be 100% accurate. Can someone make an info-graphic?
xxx number of people register to vote.
xxx number of ballots cast. If equal to or less than the above, go. If more than, stop.
xxx number of ballots cast in person.
xxx number of ballots cast by mail.
xxx number of ballots "dropped off" somewhere.
Double check total number of all three to make sure it's equal to number of ballots cast. If less than or more than, stop.
Count number of votes for each person in each race.
Tally number.
Review all ballots and check for invalid ballots. Remove those from total.
Triple check total number of ballots cast. If equal to or less than number after review, go. If more than, stop.
