Twitter Confirms Trump’s Account Will No Longer Receive ‘Special Protections’ Starting January 20th, Will Be Censored for Violations

Twitter has confirmed that President Donald Trump will no longer receive “special protections” beginning on January 20th at 12:01 p.m. if he does not win the election.

The platform has already been censoring the president and his supporters for years, but is now promising even more censorship if he does not fall in line.

Twitter claims to have a policy in which they allow tweets from world leaders that would otherwise be censored from normal civilians. On Thursday, they confirmed to Bloomberg News that former leaders do not have the same protections.

“But former world leaders aren’t protected under that policy. High-profile politicians no longer in office — like former U.S. President Barack Obama — are treated like regular users if they violate Twitter’s rules, which prohibit messages that include hate speech or posts that glorify violence or contain certain types of false information, like dangerous health-related misinformation,” Bloomberg reports.

The report added, “Trump will fall into the ‘former’ group if he leaves office in January, Twitter confirmed. If that happens, breaking one of Twitter’s rules means his tweets may be removed entirely instead of labeled. He could also rack up ‘strikes’ for multiple violations, which would increase the severity of punishment issued from the company, and could lead to temporary account freezes, suspensions or even a permanent ban.”

Since the polls closed on election night, Twitter has censored eight tweets from the president for “violating the company’s rules.”

Courts Unlikely to Decide Presidential Election

A battery of lawsuits from the Trump campaign in battleground states is not likely to tip the outcome of the election.

The multi-pronged legal attack in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia does not involve issues that are likely to change vote tallies. The campaign's lawsuits have mostly involved modest claims that seek to ensure election procedures are followed. The actions do not seek to invalidate large numbers of votes or stop the canvassing process.

A dispute over a grace period for mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania is currently pending before the Supreme Court, but it is not clear that the votes in question will be decisive to the outcome in the Keystone State. All told, apart from the dispute over Pennsylvania's post-Election Day ballots, the Trump campaign does not have an obvious path for the Supreme Court showdown President Donald Trump advocated on election night.

The Trump campaign registered a victory in Pennsylvania Thursday, where it claimed Republican election monitors have not been able to closely watch the canvassing in Philadelphia, a Democratic stronghold.

Lawyers for Philadelphia argued that the mere presence of Republican observers in canvassing centers was sufficient under Pennsylvania law. The Trump campaign countered that their observers must have a meaningful ability to scrutinize the process and criticized election officials for configuring tables and other items to hinder observation. A Pennsylvania appeals court sided with Trump, saying election law requires vote counters to give Trump's watchers some "observational leeway to ascertain sufficient details of the canvassing process."

Philadelphia officials appealed to the state's highest court, but a decision has not yet come down. Trump campaign lawyer Pam Bondi said Thursday night that officials in Philadelphia are not complying with the appeals court order, so they will file a lawsuit in federal court.

Trump campaign lawyers also sued Michigan secretary of state Jocelyn Benson (D), claiming that GOP vote challengers were being kept away from absentee vote counting boards and surveillance video of ballot drop boxes. The Trump plaintiffs named only one GOP challenger allegedly kept away from the canvassing process and did not explain the circumstances for his removal, nor did they connect the incident to a broader pattern of malfeasance.

Oklahoma School Employee Arrested On Multiple Child Porn Charges

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Today, Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) arrested 26-year-old Hansen Martin Leroy Johnson on multiple child pornography charges.

The case originated in October when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded a cyber tip they received from a social media platform to the OSBI. The tip included an image and short video showing an adult sexually abusing an infant. The OSBI ICAC Unit opened a case and began investigating Johnson, who is an employee of Tahlequah Public Schools.

Today, a search warrant was executed at a residence on South 458 Road in Tahlequah where Johnson lives. Based on the execution of that warrant, Johnson was taken into custody without incident.

Johnson is charged with Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography, Distribution of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. He is currently in the Cherokee County Detention Center and is being held without bond. The investigation remains open to determine if there are additional victims in Oklahoma.

This investigation and subsequent arrest of Johnson was a joint effort between the OSBI ICAC Task Force, which includes OSBI Agents, the Tulsa Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit, and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, along with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Green Country Child Exploitation Task Force. The OSBI would also like to thank the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service Tactical Team for keeping the scene secure and all law enforcement safe.

Trump’s Director of Election Day Operations Posts Video of Philly Post Office Continuing to Collect Ballots After Election Day

President Donald Trump’s director of election day operations has posted a video of a suburban Philadelphia post office continuing to collect ballots long after election day.

Trump’s 2020 EDO Director Mike Roman posted the shocking video on Thursday evening, tweeting “a post office in suburban Philly is STILL COLLECTING BALLOTS!”

In the footage, the postal worker asserts that “it’s gonna be a big lawsuit blah blah blah blah blah,” when asked about their continued collection.

The video begins with a postal worker approaching the man filming and asking if he has any ballots.

“Is the USPS still taking ballots?” the man asked, clearly aghast.

“Yeah, believe it or not, yeah,” the man laughs.

The Trump campaign is currently suing the state of Pennsylvania to prevent legally cast mail-in ballots postmarked by a Nov. 3 deadline but that arrived after Election Day from being counted.
