I reflected on him a lot this morning as I , of all things, built a wall at the rear of my home.
He has support. Good support, smart people. But really, he's taken the full hit of the haters onto himself for four solid years of one missile after another. How he kept focused on being President at the same time as the personal hatred of him swept across the world I don't know.
But he sucked it all up. Maybe he simply knows it's manufactured. For everyone who hates him for abstract reasons they can't pin down, he knows there are people across the Globe who will him on and wish him success. He knows he' still not alone in philosophy. That's his strength. He knows many millions share his beliefs.
