What's the story behind the guy Bill Gates bought DOS from?

When IBM couldn't or wouldn't make a deal with Kildall, Microsoft bought what became MS DOS from Seattle Computer Products for $50,000 and licensed it to IBM. It was written by Tim Paterson, who mimicked CP/M's application programming interface. How much of Kildall's intellectual property he appropriated is a matter of some dispute.

How America Equipped China with Missile Technology

In August of 1994, Bill Clintonโ€™s Secretary of Commerce, Ron Brown, flew to China to try and seal two deals for American corporations. The first was to enable Chrysler the ability to build minivans in China, and the second was to get the Chinese to buy 40 MD-90 aircraft โ€˜Trunklinersโ€ from McDonnell Douglas.

On April 3, 1996, a United States Air Force Boeing CT-43A (Flight IFO-21) crashed on approach to Dubrovnik, Croatia, while on an official trade mission. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-200 originally built as T-43A navigational trainer and later converted into a CT-43A executive transport aircraft, was carrying United States Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown and 34 other people, including The New York Times Frankfurt bureau chief Nathaniel C. Nash.[1] While attempting an instrument approach to Dubrovnik Airport, the airplane crashed into a mountainside. An Air Force Technical Sergeant survived the initial impact, but died en route to a hospital. Everyone else on board died at the scene of the crash.[2]

No. Watermark the blank stock. Certified ballot printers need to have chain of custody on how many, where they were delivered, who took delivery, etc.

Uncertified ballot printers don't have the isotope marked blank stock, so when the fake ballots are in the mix, valid vs. invalid ballots are (relatively) easy to determine by means of the isotope detector.
