Previously they've only had to manufacture a small amount of fake ballots - say in the 10s of thousands. This time POTUS got the country mobilized, with the result that they've had to manufacture industrial quantities of fake votes, which take an age to compile. You don't get 130,000 extra ballots from nowhere. It takes manpower.
If there's a sting going down it didn't start on election night with the counting. It started a long time before.
