My grandma is 83, smartest, sharpest, strongest, and most determined woman I've ever met.
This year she sent me 2 birthday cards that said almost the same exact thing, and in the second one, she said she couldn't find the gift she bought me, which she had sent with the first card a few days prior.
Needless to say, I'll be moving her into my new house in the Spring.
Anecdotally, that same type of thing is doomed to happen to a lot of our seniors, regardless of how awesome they are mentally, and regardless of how long that awesomeness lasts.
