I expect the plot twist will come sometime between the election officials certifying the results the the legislatures voting to recognize then.
I don't think final counts or even recounts will break our way. In order for this to work the Dems need to actually steal an election. It not good enough for them to try and fail and thus prove that the current system is secure enough.
