Lindsey Graham demands DOJ probe of late-ballot plot in Pennsylvania

Sen. Lindsey Graham called on the Department of Justice and the US Postal Service to investigate a Pennsylvania whistleblower’s claims of a scheme to add illegal postmarks to late mail-in ballots.

“As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee … I will not allow allegations of voting irregularities and misconduct to be swept under the rug,” Graham said in a statement issued by his Senate campaign.

The South Carolina senator, who won a hotly contested re-election battle this week, said he has received a sworn affidavit from Richard Hopkins, a postal worker in Erie, Penn., who says his supervisors planned to backdate ballots that were mailed too late to be counted under Pennsylvania law.

The Trump campaign and Pennsylvania Republicans have disputed the validity of thousands of mail-in ballots in the Keystone State, and are pursuing a case that seems destined for the US Supreme Court.

“The expanded use of mail-in voting is making the post office the administrator of elections, not the local elections officials,” Graham wrote. “Officials in Pennsylvania should take allegations from Mr. Hopkins and others seriously before certifying a final outcome.”

"I Am Done, I'll Not Vote Again" - One Middle-American Mom Rages At 'Real-Life Idiocracy'

I was born at the end of Gen X and the beginning of the Millennial Generation, and grew up in a middle class town. Life was good. Our home was modest but birthdays and Christmas were always generous, we went on yearly vacations, had 2 cars, and there was enough money for me to take dance classes and art lessons and be in Girl Scouts.

My 1940s born Dad raised me to be patriotic and proud, to love the war bird airplanes of his era as much as he does, and to respect our flag and our country as a sacred thing. I grew up thinking that being an American was the greatest gift a person could have. I grew up thinking that our country was as strong, and honest and true as my Dad. I grew up thinking I was free.

As an adult, I have witnessed the world I grew up in fall to ruin. I have watched as our currency and our economy have been shamelessly corrupted beyond redemption. Since we’ve been married, my husband and I TWICE had our meager investment savings gutted by the market that we were told to invest in, now that pensions no longer exist and we working stiffs are on our own. We will be working until we die, because the Social Security we’ve been forced to pay into has also been robbed from under us.

I have watched as our elected officials enter Congress as ordinary folks and leaves as multi millionaires. I have watched my blue collar husband get up at an ungodly hour every day and come home with an aching back that we pray will hold out long enough to get him to old age in one piece. Outside of shoes, socks and underwear, almost everything my family wears was bought used. We’ve been on one vacation in 12 years.

We don’t have cell phones, or cable, or any sort of streaming services, just a landline and internet. We hardly ever eat out. Our house is 1400 square feet, no air conditioning. I cook from scratch and I can and I garden and I raise chickens for eggs and meat and I moonlight selling things on Etsy. Still it is barely enough to pay the bills that go up every year while service quality and the longevity of goods goes down. What I just described is the life you can live on 60K a year without going into debt.

At last calculation, when you consider all of the federal, state and local taxes plus registration and user fees, Medicare and SS payroll taxes, almost a third of what my family earns is stolen by the govt each year. What’s left doesn’t go far, just enough to cover the basics and save a little for when the wolf howls at the door.

I watched as my family’s health insurance was gutted and destroyed. Our private market insurance, which we had to have because my husband’s employer is too small to have a group plan, was made illegal. We were left with the option of either buying an Obamacare plan with unaffordable deductibles and insanely ridiculous out of pocket maxes, or paying the very gov’t that destroyed our healthcare a fine for not buying the gov’t mandated plan that we cannot afford. We now have short term insurance that isn’t really insurance at all, and I live in fear of one of us getting injured or sick with anything I can’t fix from the medicine cabinet.

Schumer: ‘Now We Take Georgia, and Then We Change America’

Philadelphia GOP Poll Watcher: Election ‘Not Fair at All’; ‘We Were Kept Away from Everything’

Poll watchers were not allowed to get close enough to see the ballots on Election Day, a Republican poll watcher said Saturday at a press conference in Philadelphia.

“Listen, we just want a fair election, and we view this, we view that was not fair at all. It was not fair. … You could allow us to look at the ballots, some ballots, but nothing. We were kept away from everything,” resident Daryl Brooks told the crowd.

Brooks said he attended the press conference to show support for President Trump, adding that was also the reason why he signed up to be a poll watcher.

“A lot of us were excited about the president winning a second term. And a lot of individuals, African Americans in Philadelphia were, especially men, were talking about their 401k plan, how they were excited because of their finances,” he continued:

So when I go to the poll, there was basically, they put us at 20 feet away, and they said, “No cameras, no phones,” we cannot take pictures. I was even harassed by some of the Democratic Party poll watchers. And that is also recorded. And then next thing you know, it was six feet away and they still would not allow us to see anything that was happening. We saw people working on the ballots but we didn’t know any names, we didn’t see anything. We don’t know if people voted twice or three times. We didn’t know if dead people were voting. But we were there and we were watching and it’s such a shame.

“This is a democracy in Philadelphia, and then and not allow us to see anything and was it corrupt or not. But give us an opportunity, as poll watchers, to view all the documents, all the ballots,” Brooks said.

On Election Day, Philadelphia poll watchers were reportedly denied access and others allegedly saw “illegal campaigning” at several polling places, according to Breitbart News.

At the press conference Saturday, Rudy Giuliani said President Trump will not concede “when at least 600,000 ballots are in question.”

“It’s not my job to determine if the ballots are right or not; it’s their job. With a mail-in ballot or an absentee ballot, the burden, under law, is on the Party that’s proposing it, which is why it has to be inspected,” he concluded.

Trump Campaign Files Lawsuit About Rejected Arizona Votes

President Donald Trump's campaign has repeatedly alleged election fraud in the 2020 presidential race, insisting that Republican observers were not provided "meaningful access" to ballot-counting locations in several battleground states.

The Trump campaign has filed a lawsuit claiming that Arizona's Maricopa County "incorrectly rejected" in-person votes cast on election day.

"Poll workers struggled to operate the new voting machines in Maricopa County, and improperly pressed and told voters to press a green button to override significant errors", Matt Morgan, Trump 2020 campaign general counsel said. "The result is that the voting machine disregarded votes cast by voters in person on Election Day in Maricopa County".

This particular Trump lawsuit requests that purportedly overvoted in-person ballots be inspected manually, in the same way that election workers examined overvoted mail-in or drop-off ballots.

The campaign has collected declarations from unnamed witnesses who claim that the problem was widespread in Arizona's Maricopa County on Election Day.

Trump campaign advisors repeatedly declared that POTUS could win Arizona - a key battleground state - if all "uncounted ballots" were counted, alleging that there were "at least 605,000 uncounted Arizona ballots".

While US media have projected Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to win the presidency, Trump has repeatedly complained that the Democrats are attempting to "steal the election", claiming that Republican observers have not gotten access to ballot counting locations, while demanding that the counting of votes be stopped.
