thinkorswim is good, far better than robin hood or whatever, and pretty easy to get a margin account, just gotta send em a letter describing your goals if i remember, just for weeding out the idiots
they made you deposit 25k before you got the margin acct? i just had to send an email describing my goals and then a broker called and they set it up. either way, yeah, day trading can be fun as hell if you have the time

it has the live and simulated trading so you can do stuff your familiar with on live while building a simulated portfolio on harder stuff like forex and call/put plays with the live data
its really useful to learn the moar complicated things while not wasting real money
