Any "Christian" claiming Pacifism is a fraud.

If you read the Bible you will find instances where God instructs people to arm themselves, stand for what is right, and unwaveringly preach the truth.

But Salvation is of the Lord. You cannot save yourself when Death comes. Otherwise Jesus died in vain.

The reason for this is that the wages of Sin is Death. And there is a Second Death (Hell), for which all men must pay, unless they accept Jesus as their saviour and redeemer.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He lived a life performing good deeds, instructed people, and never sinned. But He offered Himself a living sacrifice to save all men who believe on His name. He, having no sin, became sin, and suffered Hell for three days, before conquering Death and Hell and rising from the grave on the third day.

Anyone who believes on Christ is saved. Their Spirit is quickened, and their Soul is immortal. The people who go to Hell are called "the Dead". But all believers are alive, and will live forever, because the soul is eternal, and God will raise them up on the last day with new bodies, just as Jesus did.

Knowing this gives believers a reason to live, but also a reason to fight for what is right, and not back down, because they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We are immortal.

Pacifism is a lie of the devil. We are COMMANDED to stand against evil, not hide from it.

God will indeed perform what He said He would do, and He will win with or without our cooperation. But we have a responsibility to do what is right, act on His behalf, and be His instruments of war on the spiritual battlefield. Enough good men standing for what is right can turn the tide in an otherwise bleak situation. And that, in itself, is God acting through good men, carrying out His will, and winning.

Many stories of the Bible depict good men who won't back down. Men who fight the good fight.

To him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

~ James 4:17
