Life is a mountain.

You see how high you can climb. Then plant your flag as inspiration for others. Or as a base for your children to start from.

Many will try to hold you back. Distracting you with garbage or tell you its not worth it so you sit with them because they are too lazy to climb.

Others will climb over you or kick you down. You may fall and it may hurt, or you just may be too tired.

Thats ok. Rest for a moment. Remember to breathe. And when you're ready… climb.

Sometimes you will carry others upon your back.

Sometimes others will carry you.

But don't burden yourself carrying the weight of someone elses gear so they can make their climb.

Some parts you cant climb. Find another way up. Or reach out for anothers helping hand.

And keep an eye out for others reaching for yours.

Climb

The higher you climb, the stronger you get and the less distractors there will be.

One day you will stop to take a breath and for the first time you will look back down the mountain.

All the pain and struggles you faced will be far below.

You will say to yourself… "Wow! I made it!"

Those below will look up and say… "Wow, he made it!"

And those above you will say… "Come on, you are going to love whats up here."

So you climb.

Life is a mountain.

Don't stop climbing.

I appreciate it.

For years believed life was a road. Long, flat, barren, never changing, never ending…

That's because I always had my head down.

Its amazing what you see when you look up.
