Ingesting/breathing bat guano is berry, berry bad for you. Old homes w/long-term bat infestations in the attic (etc), the “bat-dirt/dust” would sift down into the main house and poison the residents…more so the invalid spinster Auntie confined to the third floor just below the attic/bat shit.
