Please remove the fbclid from links.

The are unnecessary and provides tracking to FaceBook?

The link works without the fbclid=

Did you mean: what is the fbclid in URL

What the heck are FBCLIDs? In short, FBCLIDs or Facebook Click Identifiers are a tracking parameter that is automatically added to outbound links on Facebook. So if a Facebook user clicks on a link to your website, a unique FBCLID is created and appended to the URL.

What is fbclid - the new Facebook parameter?

Do you usually examine the URL address of a web page you visit? Have you noticed that something new appears in some URLs when you click an ad coming …

So many links are posted here with it still applied.

Thank you for the recommendation (I don't use FB and copy/paste to strip out all unnecessary parameters before following links.)

I do it every time to remind myself that the tech companies can be evil.
