Anon, how exactly the fuck do you think cache works? The images are stored on your computer. And those images don't get moved out until a certain storage volume is hit, which is usually pretty generous.
If you want to keep radioactive CSA images on your computer for even one second longer than is necesary, that's your prerogative, but for the rest of us, we want to be rid of that garbage with alacrity.
