Why did the DNC want this stupid last minute change to absentee ballot printing?

I believe the new printer was Fort Orange Press in Albany NY.

I figured they would be Democrat aligned.

They seem to have a lot of hi tech for absentee ballot tracking.

Were they doing something special, off books? Getting a bunch of blank absentee ballots printed? Sending them to special mailing lists? Using different paper with different watermarks or trackers?

Just tickles my almonds why they went through all this effort for a silly font and envelope size change.

Maybe something about Scorecard that it can only optimize for one race on a ballot, without introducing too many statistical issues.

It would have required logic to also change all the down ballot vote numbers whenever it traded Trump votes to Biden score.

Others have pointed out that the original software vote stealing was set up for red counties… simply more of them and easy to flip a bunch without setting off alarm bells.

But they were probably only configured to give 3 pts or so. When they realiEd they needed much more, they slowed everything down so they could inject votes bigly.

But that could only occur in comped blue stronghold counties.

They never planned to need to inject so many.

That is where the mistakes were made.
