No. Best way to view courts is they are self serving, just like the other institutions. They take power (Indiana supremes pretended state law on self defense did not exist, because they didn't like the state law - Florida Sup mangled election law for Gore - all courts mangle the RKBA), hallucinate (I see abortion and homo marriage in there), and do whatever it takes to get to the desired outcome.
Most judges subscribe to living constitution, interpret at will to get the result. Congress thinks this is fine. Have never, ever, removed a judge for "living constitution." This is a fundamental problem that only the people can cure. First though, the people have to be more angry than the founders were at K. Geo.
