President Trump warned the public about Joe Biden’s radical agenda to lock down the country.

“This election is a choice between a Trump boom and a Biden lockdown,” Trump said during a rally in Arizona.

Joe Biden actually said he would lock down the US if he were to win the election.

“I would be prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives, because we cannot get the country moving until we control the virus,” Biden told ABC News in August. “In order to keep the country running and moving and the economy growing, and people employed, you have to fix the virus.”

“I would shut it down. I would listen to the scientists,” he said.

Three Supreme Court Justices Were On The Bush Legal Team From The 2000 Election

Had Twitter or Facebook been around in 2000, #HangingChads would have been trending for a month. Many of us remember the legal battles that ensued over Florida’s then-25 electoral votes.

The History Channel reminds us:

After a wild election night on November 7, 2000, during which TV networks first called the key state of Florida for Gore, then for Bush, followed by a concession by Gore that was soon rescinded, the results for who would be the nation’s 43rd president were simply too close to call.

In the 36 days that followed, Americans learned Gore had won the popular vote by 543,895 votes. But it’s winning the Electoral College that counts. As accusations of fraud and voter suppression, calls for recounts and the filing of lawsuits ensued, the terms “hanging chads,” “dimpled chads” and “pregnant chads” became part of the lexicon.

Andrew E. Busch, professor of government at Claremont McKenna College and co-author of The Perfect Tie: The True Story of the 2000 Presidential Election, says as votes were counted and Bush’s lead grew, TV networks retracted their premature call of Gore, instead giving the state to Bush.

“When the lead shrank to about 2,000 votes in the early hours of the morning, TV reversed again, rescinded the call for Bush, and declared Florida as yet undetermined,” he says. “The initial problem was failure of the exit polls, for which they later overcompensated.”

Bush assembled a top notch team of attorneys, and, through a variety of different legal maneuvers involving counts and recounts, he had eventually solidified his victory.

Three attorneys from that team? Well, they just happen to be Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts, and his two newest colleagues, Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

Two of the current sitting Justices, Clarence Thomas and Stephen Breyer, were also on the highest court at that time, and, predictably, had different opinions on the matter, with Breyer taking Gore’s side and Thomas taking Bush’s side.

For good measure, Justice Neil Gorsuch also has ties to that era, as W. had nominated him to serve on the Tenth Circuit in 2006.

What does all this mean? It means we have several judges who are no stranger to being involved in complex legal battles over ballot shenanigans.

Perhaps this is the tie that bound Trump’s nominations, knowing that there was a high likelihood of widespread voter fraud in his reelection campaign, and he wanted to get the best judges in there to combat it. Combine this with the 215 other judges that Trump has appointed during his Presidency so far, and you have to start feeling good about the federal court involvement in this sham election.

Another System ”Glitch” Captured Live on CNN on Election Night – 20,000 Votes Swapped from Trump to Biden

HUGE BREAKING NEWS – System ‘glitches’ caught real time

We already know there were at least two system ‘glitches’ in Michigan during the 2020 election. First in Antrim County and then in Oakland County votes were switched between the Republican and Democrat candidates always in favor of the Democrats.

Over the weekend a video was being passed around the Internet and on social media from the 2018 gubernatorial election in Kentucky where votes are swapped between the candidates and captured live on CNN. By slowing down this video, Internet sleuths uncovered votes for the Republican candidate were switched to votes for the Democrat candidate. The number of votes seemed small but in this incident this vote swap was a quarter of the difference between the candidates’ final vote counts.

Now this morning a video has been uncovered from this year’s Presidential election in Pennsylvania where the same thing appears to have occured. Nearly 20,000 votes were subtracted from President Trump and added to Joe Biden, a 40,000 vote swing, live on CNN.

Captured in Real Time: That Moment in Virginia at 5:12 AM Where they Took 169,000 Votes Off the State Totals

Data scientist Sarah Eaglesfield was tracking the vote counts in Virginia in real-time on Election night and into the following morning.

Eaglesfield noticed a glitch in the Virgina vote counting.

At 5:12 AM the state lost 169,000 votes from 5:07 AM to 5:12 AM in the morning.

President Trump was smashing expectations and liberal media predictions in the state on Election night.

That was all solved at 5 AM.

Isn’t that amazing how that worked out?

Crooked Michigan Attorney General Says Accusations of Voter Fraud and the Mass Dump of Biden Votes in Middle of Night Is a “Conspiracy”

A very strange thing happened in Michigan on Election night that still cannot be explained.

While Americans slept the Democrats were hard at work in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

President Trump had a significant lead in Michigan on election night and into the morning.

Then all of the sudden Joe Biden jumped up 138,339 votes and gained the lead over President Trump.

The next day numerous GOP observers were harassed, abused and prevented from entering the TCF hall where the Democrats were counting votes.

One Asian-American observer later reported that she saw a mysterious van enter the TCF center at 4 AM in the morning.

The van dropped off 61 boxes of ballots in the middle of the night.

Report: Pfizer Stopped Testing COVID-19 Vaccine Results in Late October, Placed Samples in Cold Storage to Be Tested the Day After the Election

The world reacted with great optimism at the news announced Monday morning that test subjects given a COVID-19 vaccine being developed by Pfizer had 90 percent fewer symptomatic infections of the China coronavirus than those given a placebo. For example, the Dow Jones stock market index jumped over three percent in value Monday morning on the news. (CNBC reported: “The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 1,100 points higher, or 3.9% and hit an all-time high. At its session high, the 30-stock average was up nearly 5.7%, or more than 1,600 points.”)

A report by Stat News states that at the end of October Pfizer changed their planned testing protocol, placing samples in cold storage and not testing them until the after the November 3 election, supposedly to test a larger sample.

…“I’ve been in vaccine development for 35 years,” William Gruber, Pfizer’s senior vice president of vaccine clinical research and development, told STAT. “I’ve seen some really good things. This is extraordinary.” He later added: “This really bodes well for us being able to get a handle on the epidemic and get us out of this situation.”

…In their announcement of the results, Pfizer and BioNTech revealed a surprise. The companies said they had decided not to conduct the 32-case analysis “after a discussion with the FDA.” Instead, they planned to conduct the analysis after 62 cases. But by the time the plan had been formalized, there had been 94 cases of Covid-19 in the study. It’s not known how many were in the vaccine arm, but it would have to be nine or fewer.

Gruber said that Pfizer and BioNTech had decided in late October that they wanted to drop the 32-case interim analysis. At that time, the companies decided to stop having their lab confirm cases of Covid-19 in the study, instead leaving samples in storage. The FDA was aware of this decision. Discussions between the agency and the companies concluded, and testing began this past Wednesday. When the samples were tested, there were 94 cases of Covid in the trial. The DSMB met on Sunday.

This means that the statistical strength of the result is likely far stronger than was initially expected. It also means that if Pfizer had held to the original plan, the data would likely have been available in October, as its CEO, Albert Bourla, had initially predicted.

Newsweek reports that while Pfizer did not take federal government money for research and development of the vaccine candidate, the firm signed an Operation Warp Speed contract worth $1.95 billion for 100 million doses with an option for 500 million more.

Pfizer’s head of vaccine research has distanced the firm’s COVID-19 vaccine development from the White House’s Operation Warp Speed.

…While government figures welcomed the program’s progress, Kathrin Jansen, the head of vaccine research and development at Pfizer, sought to distance it from them.

She told The New York Times: “We have never taken any money from the U.S. government, or from anyone.”

Following up on our Sunday preview of what Joe Biden's cabinet may look like - in the event the Electoral College joins the MSM in crowning him the next US president - this morning Charlie Gasparino writes that there is "lots of talk among Dems that Biden's first cabinet pick will be Treasury Secretary" and notes that the choices are Fed's Lael Brainard, and Roger Ferguson of TIAA-CREF, while progressives such as Elizabeth Warren are "seen off the table given divided Senate and the need for Dems to preserve seats."

And while it has rapidly emerged as a consensus view that Brainard will indeed be Biden's pick for Treasury Secretary, this morning Prospect Magazine's Robert Kuttner writes that "one interesting name has surfaced for the key post of Treasury secretary. That would be former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen."

Government official accused of ‘hating democracy’ for not designating Biden ‘president-elect’ as soon as media called his victory

A Donald Trump-appointed official came under attack for not initiating the formal transition to a Joe Biden administration the weekend after the election, despite legal challenges to the results that were declared by the media.

The administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA) is required by law to sign the papers that officially declare an “apparent” winning ticket the president-elect and the vice-president-elect, which hands government funding to their transition team.

Emily Murphy, appointed to the position by Trump, has not signed such papers, as official results are yet to come, despite major American media outlets declaring Biden and Kamala Harris the projected winners of the presidential election.

Murphy’s inaction has largely been interpreted as a refusal by various anti-Trump elements, with the Washington Post penning a story on Murphy titled “A little-known Trump appointee is in charge of handing transition resources to Biden — and she isn’t budging.”

Despite the catchy headline, the article featured no comment from Murphy on her stance on “budging” or not. However, WaPo did have an actual explanation from a GSA spokesperson Pamela Pennington, who said that “an ascertainment has not yet been made” with regards to declaring the election winners.

Despite all the over-the-top accusations and a level of uncertainty in the seemingly final election results, Murphy has not commented on the situation.

Russian Mi-24 Helicopter Shot Down Over Armenia Near Azerbaijan Border, 2 Pilots Killed

There are breaking reports out of Interfax and Sputnik Armenia that a Russian helicopter has been shot down over Armenian territory related to intense fighting in the Nagorno-Karabakh contested border region.

Interfax is reporting that two Russian pilots were killed in the fiery crash and at least one other injured. Rescue operations and an investigation are underway.

The largest public radio broadcaster of Armenia has aired the following early details:

A Russian helicopter has crashed in Armenia’s Ararat Province, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. The Ministry says it received an alarm from Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center at 6:39 pm today.

The helicopter crashed in the gorge between the villages of Yeraskh and Paruyr Syak. Fire and rescue brigades have been dispatched to the scene.

Armenian military news sites are circulating nighttime footage of what appears to be a helicopter going down, but the video is unverified.

Early reports also suggest the downing may have been from a MANPAD fired from the ground or possibly other type of portable air-defense system.

The Russian Ministry of Defense appears to have confirmed that it's lost one of its Mi-24 gunships over Armenian territory near the border. "The Russian Mi-24 helicopter crashed in Armenia after being subjected to fire from the ground, the Russian Defense Ministry reports," according to Russia's RT.

Russia's military has thus far been monitoring the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, warning Azerbaijan not to extend the battle into Armenian sovereign territory.

While Moscow has a defense pact with Yerevan, it's thus far sought to not get involved. However this may immediately change things. Russia's Sputnik details further that the Russian gunship had been escorting a convoy which departed from Russia's lone military base on Armenian soil in Gyumri:

A Russian Mi-24 (NATO reporting name: Hind) military helicopter has crashed on the territory of Armenia near the village of Yeraskh after it was shot from the ground by unknown forces using a man-portable air-defence system (SAM), Russia’s Defence Ministry has stated. The crash was caused by a loss of control after a missile hit the aircraft, the ministry added.

The report notes further: "At the time of the time of the attack, the helicopter was escorting a convoy from Russia’s 102nd military base, which is located in Armenia, as it was moving past Yeraskh, near the border with Azerbaijan's Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic."

One in seven UK mothers barred from seeing sick babies due to Covid-19 restrictions, preemie charity finds

Coronavirus health restrictions have severely curtailed the time UK mothers are allowed to spend with their hospitalized babies, impeding bonding and possibly worsening health outcomes, a premature infants' charity has found.

Some 14 percent of parents with sick and premature babies have been prevented from staying at their newborns' bedside by Covid-19 regulations adopted haphazardly by the National Health Service, according to a recent survey by premature babies' charity Bliss, cited by the Mail on Sunday.

A Hertfordshire mother told of being forced to "book a slot" to visit her five-week-premature daughter, with only one parent being allowed inside the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Cambridge's Rosie Hospital. A first-time parent, Katie Orger complained that she missed the chance to breastfeed her little girl, and the lack of "skin-to-skin and lasting contact with my daughter" disrupted their bonding.

Another couple was deprived of the chance to visit their daughter together by Royal Bolton Hospital, restrictions they say estranged them from their baby, who was born with jaundice and required oxygen. "When I brought Emily home after nine days, it felt like someone else's child because the restrictions stopped that bond," Carly Maclean told Bliss.

During "normal" times, parents have 24-hour access to NICUs. Neonatal care staff and even national authorities like the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health have urged hospitals not to consider parents "visitors" with regard to social distancing and other coronavirus restrictions that are keeping them away from their children, but some individual hospitals have made their own rules.

Bliss concluded its report with a recommendation that the NHS issue a blanket order guaranteeing parents access to NICUs as a "matter of urgency." Its CEO Caroline Lee-Davey explained to the Mail that "our smallest and sickest babies need their parents at their side to give them the best chance of survival, even during a pandemic."

There's good reason for concern for both mothers and babies, as stillbirths nearly doubled between April and June in England while the country shut down "non-essential" care to fight the novel coronavirus. A report earlier this month in the Health Services Journal suggested the official line of "Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives" likely frightened ailing mothers away from seeking care – for themselves and their children.

As the US reported a record number of daily COVID-19 cases over the weekend (128k new cases reported on Saturday), HUD Secretary Ben Carson has reportedly tested positiive, becoming the latest member of the Trump inner circle to test positive.

HUD confirmed the news virtually as soon as Bloomberg reported it. But Bloomberg added that Carson was last at the White House for the election night party on Tuesday.

Biden Headed For Confrontation With Congress As Dems Move To Push Through 'Green New Deal'

Now that the votes have been cast, the speeches have been given, and the promises have been made, America is looking past the heady glow of election day and remembering the fact that the American economy is still about 3.5% smaller than it was pre-COVID-19, and about 10 million jobs lighter.

Futures might be soaring on the optimism, but that headrush could be illusory (a product of the same aggressive trading strategies that earned SoftBank the nickname "the Nasdaq Whale"- or at least so JPM thinks).

Though many on Wall Street are more optimistic, with even MS equity bear Mike Wilson forecasting the market to remain rangebound in the coming months, Bloomberg recently reminded us that despite all of Joe Biden's promises about comity and "healing", a divided Congress could deprive a Biden Administration of the votes it needs to pass the kind of broad, sweeping fiscal stimulus that the market - thanks in part to the pleas of Bill Dudley and other central banker-types - has come to expect. Biden has promised to provide this fiscal stimulus (which would in theory deliver a badly needed financial shot in the arm to the consumers who are most likely to spend, rather than save, their money), along with delivering on the infrastructure package that alluded Trump, and securing some wins for the "Green New Deal" - one of the top priorities for lefties like AOC and Elizabeth Warren who will almost certainly have an outsize voice once Biden occupies the White House - along with expanded public child care.
