For the past six weeks I've gone to Costco 3x and been literally THE ONLY PERSON (adult) NOT wearing a mask. Only got challenged once at the door and they gave me one which I did not wear. On one visit, a bunch of younger male employees were giving me the high signs that were in solidarity with telling the overlords to f off.

I just tell them that the state of emergency was lifted (here) on Sep 25, will NOT be reissued, and enforcement is prohibited. Being a retired cop and sounding and looking like I know what I'm talking about not one to entertain foolishness lightly helps.

And the confidence of the Sheriff and Undersheriff who loved it. If you have facts and conviction and courage it has a synergistic effect. And I firmly believe that this COVID bullshit is enemy psychological weapon bionuking the non-communist world for it's masters. Who I've been fighting publicly and secretly for nearly 4 decades, to a fair degree of success judging from the very real interest in my life and doings. To which, I say…good.
If you're in a non-permissive environment, then do half measures wear it with contrary messages, slid down, askew, at-the-ready-but-not-on, etc… You get the idea…that was my schtick before the governor threw us a bone.
If you know this, and now we know this, they already knew this…which is actually bad. Very bad. Imagine having a feud and your weapon(s) have a shelf life, but your opponent's is longer. You have a very real incentive to harvest any value a priori. Now I can understand the Russians and our haste…well, you know, not to mention loose nukes in the hands of radicals. Which is kinda bad. I feel like I'm back in the old career of high level security planning…so many threats…all very real.
