EU to slap tariffs on $4 BILLION worth of US goods over Boeing aid
The European Union (EU) said on Monday it has agreed to impose tariffs and other penalties on up to $4 billion worth of American goods and services over illegal US government support for plane maker Boeing.
“The US has imposed their tariffs following the WTO [World Trade Organization] ruling in [the] Airbus case, now we have a WTO ruling also in Boeing, allowing us to impose our tariffs, and that’s what we are doing,” EU Commission Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis told reporters.
He added: “Of course, we remain open for a negotiated solution. Our proposal remains on the table that both sides withdraw their tariffs.” According to Dombrovskis, despite several appeals, “so far, the US has not agreed to withdraw their tariffs.”
The announcement comes after international arbitrators last month gave the world’s biggest trade bloc the green light to target US goods over Boeing subsidies. Earlier, the WTO authorized the United States to slap penalties on EU goods worth up to $7.5 billion over EU support for Boeing’s European rival Airbus.
In October 2019, Washington imposed a 10 percent tariff on most European-made Airbus jets and duties of 25 percent on a list of EU products, ranging from cheese and olives to whiskey. The EU last month released a preliminary list that suggests it could go after a wide range of US products including frozen fish and shellfish, dried fruit, tobacco, rum and vodka, handbags, motorcycle parts and tractors.
The transatlantic legal battle over aircraft subsidies began in 2004, when the US government accused Britain, France, Germany and Spain of providing illegal subsidies and grants to support Airbus. At the same time, the EU filed a similar complaint about US subsidies for Boeing.

Andrew Cuomo, who has somehow become an authority among liberals on how to properly manage the response to COVID-19 in spite of his state's objectively terrible coronavirus outcomes, said on "Good Morning America" on Monday that it is "bad news" that the potential COVID-19 vaccine was developed "two months before Joe Biden takes over" and promised that he would do whatever he could to stop the Trump administration's rollout of the vaccine.
Former Bill Clinton adviser and "Good Morning America" host George Stephanopoulos asked Cuomo about his thoughts regarding the news that Pfizer's vaccine is more effective than previously hoped and could soon be ready for distribution. Cuomo responded, "The good news is the Pfizer tests look good and we'll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is that it's about two months before Joe Biden takes over and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan."

Cuomo went on to claim that the specific problem with the Trump administration's vaccine plan is that the "Trump administration is rolling out the vaccination plan and I believe it's flawed. I believe it learns nothing from the past. They're basically going to have the private providers do it and that's going to leave out all sorts of communities that were left out the first time when Covid ravaged them."
Stephanopoulos asked Cuomo what the Biden administration could do differently from a Trump administration, and rather than respond, Cuomo first falsely claimed that "the Trump administration denied COVID." Cuomo did not elaborate on how the Trump administration denied COVID, because there is no statement on record from Trump or anyone in his administration that COVID was not real.
Cuomo went on to falsely claim that "there was no mobilization of the government" under Trump. In fact, the government undertook massive efforts to provide both PPE and ventilators to hospitals, as well as to ensure the availability of testing.
Finally, Cuomo claimed, without proof or any indication from Biden, "That's going to be slow and that's going to bypass the communities that we call health care deserts. If you don't have a Rite Aid or a CVS, then you're in trouble and that's what happened the first time with COVID. Why do we have such a disparity in the infection rate and mortality rate in COVID? Because some communities don't have the same access to health care. I'm sure the Biden administration is going to address that."

Nevada Clark County Election Official Won’t Investigate Fraud Allegations Until ‘Post-Election’
Nevada Clark County Registrar of Voters, Joe Gloria, said his office has received allegations of voter fraud but will not investigate them until “post-election.”
“We do have some reports that have come in that we’re logging for reporting. But we’re definitely going to do an investigation, and we’ll deal with them once the canvass is finished,” Gloria (pictured) said during a Saturday press conference in response to questions involving potential voter fraud. However, the investigation will not start immediately.
“The votes are in the system at this point, so we’ll have to after the election, post-election, go after anything that’s been reported at this time,” he added.

Last week, Gloria claimed he was “not aware of any improper ballots that are being processed” in his county, which is responsible for the lion’s share of ballots in the state.
On Thursday, the Nevada GOP announced its legal team sent a criminal referral to Attorney General William Barr (R) “regarding at least 3,062 instances of voter fraud.”

The following day, a firm representing Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. sought public records from the Clark County Election Department as part of Trump’s greater challenge over election integrity in key battleground states.
A poll worker and employee of the Clark County Election Department, in a sworn affidavit, recently detailed alleged instances of nefarious behavior in relation to both the processing and filling out of ballots. The whistleblower claimed individuals who wanted to register to vote but did not have proper ID were instructed to make appointments with the DMV.
After showing proof of their appointment — not an ID — they were given a provisional ballot. Poll workers were then instructed to “add two zeros (’00’) to the DMV confirmation number and put it where the Driver’s License/ID number was supposed to go when we filled in the registration form on the line,” per the affidavit.

The media have called the election for Biden, but the counting goes on and there is a legal case in the offing. But whoever emerges from this deluge of sludge, fraud and propaganda to become president of the United States, there has undoubtedly already been one big loser – freedom of speech.
Late on Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning, Donald Trump – the elected President of the United States – emerged from the White House to make a speech.
He accused the Democratic party, the political establishment, the media and tech giants/social media companies of working together to steal the election and put Biden in the Whitehouse.

Earlier that night, MSNBC had cut away from Trump’s first speech claiming victory, with anchor Brian Williams claiming it was “not rooted in reality” and “dangerous”.

Donald Trump is the elected head of state, and he is being denied a platform to address the people he represents by the faceless servants of corporate media oligarchs.

Apple Abandons iPhone Assembler In China After Labor Abuses Uncovered
Several weeks ago, Apple discovered that one of its "Taiwanese manufacturers misclassified student workers and allowed some to work nights and overtime in violation of Apple's Supplier Code of Conduct," reported Bloomberg
After discovering labor violations at a student workers' program, Apple took swift action against the iPhone assembler, Pegatron Corp, by discontinuing any new business across its Chinese-based production chain until corrective action was completed.
The problem, Pegatron "misclassified" student workers and falsified their paperwork so they could work night shifts or extremely long hours. In many of the cases, the work performed by students were entirely unrelated to their majors. Apple said Pegatron employees "went to extraordinary lengths" to cover up the labor violations.
"Pegatron misclassified the student workers in their program and falsified paperwork to disguise violations of our Code, including allowing students to work nights and/or overtime and in some cases to perform work unrelated to their major," Apple said in a statement. "The individuals at Pegatron responsible for the violations went to extraordinary lengths to evade our oversight mechanisms."
Pegatron is one of Apple's top iPhone assemblers besides Foxconn. The labor violations come as Apple ramped up production of the new iPhone 5G amid delays and supply chain disruptions following the virus pandemic earlier in the year.
The news sent Pegatron's shares lower Monday, closing down 2% in Taiwan's cash session.

Nevada Whistleblower: Workers Instructed to Process Illegitimate Ballots
A whistleblower who worked for Nevada’s Clark County Elections Department listed a series of instances of nefarious behavior they witnessed in the days leading up to the election, including poll workers processing illegitimate ballots as well as non-poll workers forming a “human wall” near a Biden/Harris van to block the view of individuals purportedly filling out what the whistleblower believes to have been ballots.
In a sworn affidavit signed November 8, the whistleblower, who served as a poll worker, detailed “concerns over election polling place intimidation and voter fraud.”
One of the main concerns revolved around what the whistleblower described as the processing of illegal ballots. According to the affidavit, a team leader and two assistants told poll workers to advise those who wanted to register to vote but did not have the proper ID to make an appointment with DMV. They were then told that they could bring in proof of their appointment confirmation — which the whistleblower described as “either a paper copy or show icon [on] their phone to us” — and be registered based on that confirmation alone.
“They were then permitted to vote with a provisional ballot, even though their appointments were not until January of 2021. We were told this was being allowed all over the Valley, at all polling places,” the affidavit reads.
Poll workers were allegedly instructed to “add two zeros (’00’) to the DMV confirmation number and put it where the Driver’s License/ID number was supposed to go when we filled in the registration form on the line.”
The whistleblower also detailed the consistent presence of a Biden/Harris bus, tent, or table in the parking lot, which offered “food, drink, and political memorabilia to voters.”
“It was a very visible feature in a very narrow parking lot. On several days they had speakers, dances, music and other festivities going on,” the affidavit reads.
The whistleblower alleges that the team leader had to repeatedly address the Biden/Harris group, reminding them to maintain a 100-foot distance from the polling place.
The whistleblower also detailed an incident observed during a lunch break. In late October, the whistleblower “personally witnessed two people handing multiple unopened mail-in ballot envelopes to two other people who then opened and filled out the ballots against the side of the Biden/Harris van.”
“The same two people who marked the ballots then put the marked ballots in official pink and white envelopes. These individuals were not poll workers,” the affidavit reads. Others then formed what the whistleblower described as a “human wall” in an apparent attempt to block the view of the individuals handling the envelopes:

“When the moving human wall of people noticed me walking by, they continued moving [to] block my view as I walked,” the affidavit reads.
The whistleblower alerted the team leader, who called the Clark County Elections office. The office reportedly told her that “nothing could be done about the ballots or envelopes” that the worker witnessed individuals handling outside the Biden/Harris area. The poll worker was also told that ballot harvesting is legal.

Money Spent by Both Parties in 2020 Election Could’ve Nearly Ended Homelessness in US
Because Donald Trump and Joe Biden are the antitheses of what the supposed “leader of the free world” should look like, they had to spend billions of dollars to convince people to vote for them. As a result of running who could be considered the two worst candidates in US history against each other, the total cost of the 2020 election nearly reached a historic $14 billion.

To put it into perspective, in 2016, those terrible candidates spent just half of what was spent this time. To be clear, this is the total money spent by all elected positions, not just the presidential candidates. However, the presidential campaigns accounted for a large portion of the spending.

According to OpenSecrets.org, a political funding watchdog, Democratic candidates and groups have spent $6.9 billion, compared to $3.8 billion for Republicans. Democrats’ spending falls to $5.5 billion when excluding spending by billionaire presidential candidates Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer.
As billions of dollars poured into campaigns for people to rule you, thanks to COVID-19 mandates, millions of Americans slid into poverty and the homeless population skyrocketed. Instead of helping those in need, Americans got a one-time $1,200 check and were told to kick rocks as tyrannical governors forced them out of work.
According to an estimate by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, or HUD, it would cost $20 billion to end homelessness. Obviously there are many facets to ending widespread homelessness like drug treatment programs and mental health rehabilitation, but $14 billion would have been a massive aid in that fight.
As there are currently around a half million homeless people in the country at any given time, the amount of money spent on 2020 elections could’ve given every homeless person over $25,000.

Cruz: Prepare For "Socialist Abyss" If Dems Win Senate
With a Senate runoff in Georgia potentially determining which party takes control, GOP Senator Ted Cruz warned that if the state falls to Democrats, along with the Presidency, Americans will face a “socialist abyss”.
In an appearance on Fox News, which has already called the presidency for Joe Biden much to the disgust of many Republicans, Cruz demanded that the rule of law be followed.
“At this point, we do not know who has prevailed in the election,” the Senator said, emphasising that “The media is desperately trying to get everyone to coronate Joe Biden as the next president, but that’s not how it works.”
“The media does not get to select our president. The American people get to elect our president,” Cruz urged.
“We’ve got numerous states that are very closely and vigorously contested — from Pennsylvania to Georgia to Arizona to New Mexico to Michigan to Wisconsin. In all of those states, there are serious disputes about the vote totals, and there’s a legal process to resolve those disputes,” Cruz declared.
“So at this point, we should allow the rule of law to operate. We should allow the legal process to move forward. And when that process is concluded, which it will be in a matter of weeks, we will know who prevailed in the elections,” Cruz added.
The Senator then warned of a scenario in which the Senate and the Presidency could fall to the Democratic Party.
“If we have a Chuck Schumer Senate and a Joe Biden presidency, they will pack the U.S. Supreme Court; they will end the filibuster; they will pass massive tax increases; they will pass the Green New Deal, destroying millions of jobs,” Cruz warned.
“If we have a Republican Senate, none of that happens,” he noted.
“If you want a check on Joe Biden, if you don’t want to go over the edge to the socialist abyss, Georgia is the big enchilada,” Cruz proclaimed.
Both Senate seats in Georgia will be contested in a run-off in early January.
The GOP currently holds 48 Senate seats, with Democrats on 46, in addition to two independents who are aligned with Democrats. The GOP leads in two states that are still counting votes, in North Carolina and Alaska.
With a majority of 51 seats needed to control the Senate, this means that Georgia is the key, with strategists estimating that $500 million could be spent on the two races there.
There has not been a Democratic Senator in the state for 20 years.

Facebook Clamps Down on Groups Spreading ‘Misinformation’
Facebook has announced plans to crack down on groups that spread what it considers misinformation on its platform, introducing new “probationary periods” for groups that regularly violate rules.
Mashable reports that tech giant Facebook has announced plans to prevent the spread of what it considers misinformation within the groups on its platform. Facebook will now put certain Facebook Groups in “probation” periods of 60 days. During this timeframe, all posts in the groups must be manually approved by a group administrator or moderator in an attempt to have them take responsibility for the content posted in the groups.
If Facebook finds that many of a group’s posts violate its community standards policies, the group could face a probationary period. All groups on the platform will be subject to these new rules, whether they are public or private.
If the groups continue to violate Facebook policies during the probationary period, the company will ban the group. Facebook previously announced a version of this new policy in relation to Groups in September. The updated policy appears to include a longer probation period.
Currently, administrators and moderators can control what content is allowed within their groups, but moderation of any sort is completely up to the moderators and admins. If they choose not to remove any posts featuring misinformation then their group could be at risk as part of this new Facebook Groups policy.
Breitbart News recently reported that Facebook has announced that it plans to demote content “our systems predict may be misinformation” relating to election fraud. A Facebook spokesperson told Forbes that the social media company is “seeing more reports of inaccurate claims about the election” and “while many of these claims have low engagement on our platform, we are taking additional temporary steps.”
The spokesperson told Forbes that Facebook would be taking a number of actions including “demotions for content on Facebook and Instagram that our systems predict may be misinformation, including debunked claims about voting” and “limiting the distribution of Live videos that may relate to the election on Facebook.”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the President of the European Union Commission, Ursula von der Leyen offered their hands in cooperation to former Vice President Joe Biden after the mainstream media projected him as the winner of the presidential election.
On Monday, the German chancellor praised the ageing Democrat, saying that Biden “knows Germany and Europe well”.
“I warmly congratulate Joe Biden on his election as the 46th President of the United States. Joe Biden brings decades of experience in both domestic and foreign policy,” Merkel said before reporters in Berlin.
“I have fond memories of good encounters and conversations with him,” she added.
“Side by side in the difficult test of the corona pandemic, side by side in the fight against global warming and its global consequences, (and) in the fight against terrorism, side by side for an open world economy and free trade, because those are the foundations of our prosperity on both sides of the Atlantic,” Merkel concluded.
President of the European Commission and former German Minister of Defense, Ursula von der Leyen said: “With Joe Biden in the White House, the tone and the way we approach each other will change.”
The globalist EU President did dampen expectations, however, saying that “We won’t pick things up where we left off in 2016 when we left our common ground behind.”

The pair joined a chorus of world leaders who congratulated Mr Biden, including British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, despite votes still outstanding, recounts looming, and President Trump refusing to concede, alleging voter fraud and improprieties in crucial swing states.

Angela Merkel is said to be particularly keen on the prospects of working with Mr Biden on the issue of supposedly man-made climate change.
Ahead of last week’s election, President Trump argued that Biden’s green agenda will not be effective in reducing emissions, as he said that windmills require vast amounts of energy to be produced. Trump went on to argue that the green policies will only serve to outsource more jobs, resulting in an “economic death sentence” for the fracking industry.

U.S. news outlets claimed that the British tradition of setting off fireworks in early November to mark Guy Fawkes Night was, in fact, in celebration of Joe Biden, who the media have crowned the next president of the United States of America.
Guy Fawkes Night, also referred to as Bonfire Night, is celebrated every year in the UK on November 5th and its closest weekend with fireworks, public bonfires, and burning effigies of political figures as well as the traditional Guy.
It commemorates the failure of the Gunpowder Plot 0f 1605, when Catholic Robert Catesby and his co-conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, plotted to blow up King James I and Members of the House of Lords during the State Opening of Parliament on November 5th. Catesby planned the terror attack because the King did not support tolerance for Catholicism in the country.

Parliament then proclaimed that the 5th of November should be recognised, with the first Guy Fawkes celebrations taking place in 1606. The tradition of using fireworks represents the explosives that were never detonated under the Palace of Westminster. Guy Fawkes Night quickly spread to the American colonies, too, where since the 17th century it was known as Pope Day, though its celebration died out by the 19th century. Guy Fawkes Night is still held in New Zealand.
Fireworks and bonfire events can go on for days, particularly if the 5th falls on a weekday, with more displays held on the weekends. Celebrations are likely to be sporadic and ongoing this year, after England’s second lockdown came into effect on Thursday — Bonfire Night — which banned gatherings, likely resulting in Britons finding themselves with a surplus of pyrotechnics they could not use at parties.
Several U.S. news outlets, however, claimed that the fireworks the weekend just passed were for Joe Biden. Australian journalist Rita Panahi was one of several high-profile figures with a cursory knowledge of history to mock the likes of ABC News, which claimed: “Fireworks lit up the sky over London, England, after Joe Biden was characterised to be the apparent winner of the U.S. presidential election.” The erroneous tweet was later deleted.
“Fireworks were for Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night, you ignorant imbeciles. Nothing to do with US election,” Ms Panahi wrote on social media on Sunday.

The Hill claimed that “leftover fireworks” from Guy Fawkes were being let off for the pro-Irish Democrat in their article entitled: “Fireworks in London, Edinburgh as Biden win celebrated abroad.”
CNN reported: “Even across the ocean, there was celebration. In London, fireworks. In Paris, church bells.”
Fox News declared that “Europe celebrates Biden win fireworks, church bells.”
Even the establishment Associated Press ran a fact-checker piece that labelled as “false” claims that French churches rang their bells on Saturday evening in celebration of a Biden ‘victory’. The Paris Diocese and the Diocese of Nanterre, a Parisien suburb, told the wire service that the claims were not true, and churches had not been instructed to ring their bells for Biden.
While France’s lockdown forbids public worship, the dioceses’ spokesmen said the bells of some churches were still automatically scheduled to call worshippers to Saturday evening service.
“This is the case for the bells of the Notre-Dame de l’Assomption church in Meudon, which can be seen and heard in a video shared on social media by a resident of the city,” the Diocese of Nanterre told AP. “As every Saturday evening at 5:45 pm, bells of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption church in Meudon rang to announce the Mass at 6 pm.”

Boris Refuses to Address Question on Biden’s Anti-Brexit Position
Boris Johnson refused to address a question on Joe Biden’s anti-Brexit position, but praised the prospect of “American global leadership in tackling climate change”.
After the media coronation, the British prime minister was eager to congratulate Joe Biden on his alleged victory, despite the results not being official, with vote counts ongoing and President Donald Trump declining to concede, alleging fraud.
Asked to remark on Biden having called Boris Johnson a “physical and emotional clone” of President Trump and for having claimed Brexit was a mistake, the prime minister sidestepped completely, telling The Times: “I think there is far more that unites the government of this country and the government in Washington at any time and any stage than divides us.”
He also told the newspaper that he “very much” looks forward to working with “President Biden” in “tackling climate change, trade, international security, many, many other issues”.
“With President Biden in the White House… we have the real prospect of American global leadership in tackling climate change,” Prime Minister Johnson said.

Mr Johnson’s former prime ministerial rival, Sajid Javid, also looks forward to partnering with the Democrat on tackling alleged man-made climate change and supporting the World Health Organization, claiming there was “far more” mutual interest between a notionally conservative British government and a potential Democratic Biden presidency than “there ever was with a Trump administration”.
Mr Javid, who had held such high positions in government as Chancellor of the Exchequer and Home Secretary, mentioned that the UK was hosting an upcoming climate summit, telling Sky News on Sunday that “with a new leader in the White House, we’ll have someone who will want to work with us to bring about change”.
Figures on the British political left were fawning over Biden and his election “win”. However, the love appeared not to be reciprocated, with a recent interaction highlighting the hostility that Biden still holds for the UK. When the liberal British Broadcasting Corporation asked Biden for a “quick word” for its viewers, the leftist American politician smirked and responded: “The BBC? I’m Irish.”

In response, Reform Party leader Nigel Farage, who is a friend of President Trump, remarked: “As you can see from this clip, Biden hates the UK.”
Mr Farage went on to criticise the Conservative government for failing for four years to strike a trade deal with the U.S. under a “pro-UK President”, Trump, adding: “There is no chance now.”

Mexico’s president expressed surprise at how U.S. media are working to “censor” President Donald Trump amid contested election results.
During his daily news conference, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) doubled down on his recent decision to hold off on congratulating any candidate until all legal issues were resolved. AMLO said Trump was being silenced by media when he has tried to call out irregularities.

This deadline was affirmed by an October 2 federal appeals court ruling, which stayed a lower court ruling from August 31, stemming from a lawsuit brought by leftist nonprofit the New Georgia Project (NGP), founded by Georgia Democrat activist and failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. NGP’s lawsuit prevailed in extending the Georgia mail-in ballot receipt deadline for three additional days. However, on appeal, brought by the state of Georgia, Georgia election law held firm, with the higher court decisively re-establishing the deadline in 2020 as November 3, at the close of the polls.
Ignoring Georgia law, “start[ing] on Nov. 4, 2020, 2 p.m. and end[ing] Nov. 6, 2020, 5 p.m. EST,” according to their PR, the Georgia Democratic Party began the deployment of trained teams of volunteer activist operatives – “Ballot Rescue Teams” – to do phone banking and also to travel Georgia’s counties, knocking on people’s front doors – only Democrats’ front doors, that is – and cheerfully offering to help “cure” or fix absentee and mail-in ballots which, allegedly, had problems and were, allegedly, not being counted by county registrars.

With support for Windows 10 version 1903 coming to an end on December 8, Microsoft has started pushing 1903 users to Windows 10 version 1909.
As reported by Neowin, Microsoft is taking the unusual step of automatically upgrading users on version 1903 to 1909, rather than to the latest version of Windows 10, the October 2020 Update (20H2), or even its predecessor, Windows 10 2004.

Versions 1909 was a minor feature update to version 1903 and has been designed to be a quick and painless process. However, support for Windows 10 version 1909, the November 2019 Update, ends for consumers next May for Windows 10 Home and Pro users.
Historically, Microsoft has started force-upgrading users on older versions of Windows 10 around six months before a version reaches the end of support. However, for version 1903 it didn't initiate upgrades on behalf of users in that six-month timeframe, probably because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In April, also due to the pandemic, Microsoft extended support for Windows 10 version 1809 from May 12, 2020 to November 10, 2020.
On Friday, Microsoft published a reminder about Windows 10 version 1903's end of support on December 8.
"All editions of Windows 10, version 1903 and Windows 10 Server, version 1903 will reach end of service on December 8, 2020," it said.
"After this date, devices running these editions of Windows will no longer receive security updates. We recommend that you update these devices to a supported version as soon as possible to continue to receive monthly quality updates with security and non-security fixes."
When last month it released Windows 10 20H2, also known as the Windows 10 October 2020 Update, Microsoft made it available to 'seekers' on Windows 10 version 1903 or later.
But assuming Microsoft resumes automatic upgrades six months ahead of end of service, users on version 1909 could expect to see a forced upgrade again in the not too distant future given that version 1909 reaches end of support in May next year.

President Donald Trump pushed out more unsubstantiated claims that the election was stolen by firing off a series of angry tweets Sunday, even as the vote count continued to move against him and Joe Biden shifted into transition mode.
The tweet from Trump came more than an hour after George W. Bush issued a message telling him the election's outcome was 'clear' and that it was held with 'fairness and integrity' and Chris Christie, one of the president's most prominent allies, said it was time for him to show evidence or 'move on.'
With his political options narrowing and his hold on power becoming more tenuous by the hour, Trump also blasted the media for getting to 'call' who will be the next president.
After the broadcast and cable networks all called the race for Democrat Joe Biden, the race entered a new phase, with Biden giving a victory speech and laying plans for the transition, even as Trump and his legal team prepared lawsuits and made accusations of fraud on TV without yet providing evidence.
'Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be? We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!' Trump tweeted Sunday afternoon after another round of golf, his second in two days.
Melania, who had been the subject of a report she had urged her husband to concede, made clear that she was still with her husband on his war footing on Twitter.
'The American people deserve fair elections. Every legal - not illegal - vote should be counted,' the Slovenia-born former model wrote. 'We must protect our democracy with complete transparency,' she added.
She did not go as far as Trump and his allies in alleging that there had been election fraud, but her comments lined up with Trump and GOP allies' calls for investigation and litigation to get to the bottom of the Trump team's claims.
Despite Trump's claims about the media, the election will only be decided after county boards of elections submit their tallies, states report the results, the electoral college meets, and Congress meets in a joint session.
What media organizations do is evaluate the vote count as it comes in, then determine when one candidate or the other no longer has a chance of winning a state based on the outstanding vote.
In the case of Pennsylvania, which networks used to reach their conclusion, Biden is up by 43,000 votes, with 98 per cent of precincts reporting.
What makes the lead basically insurmountable, though, is that the remaining votes are coming almost entirely from mail ballots in pro-Biden counties, and Biden has been winning each batch by an overwhelming margin.
Even if the media were wrong – networks wrongly called Florida in 2000 only to pull their projections back – it wouldn't matter if the official count went the other way for some reason.
Amid conflicting reports about factions inside his orbit, Trump's public comments have all attacked the election and demonstrated fight.

Joe Biden’s love affair with Israel will pick up where it left off
With Donald Trump still disputing his loss of the US presidential election, there has been a lot of attention to which foreign leaders congratulated the winners after the race was called on Saturday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took his time, waiting until well after other world leaders had recognized Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the victors.
But finally, on Sunday, Netanyahu joined the club.
“Joe, we’ve had a long and warm personal relationship for nearly 40 years, and I know you as a great friend of Israel,” Netanyahu wrote in a tweet addressing President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris.
“I look forward to working with both of you to further strengthen the special alliance between the US and Israel.”
It was undoubtedly another awkward moment for Netanyahu, whose close identification with Trump’s ultra-nationalist, white supremacist populism has been a hallmark of the last few years.
But Netanyahu is right about Biden’s unconditional, career-long commitment to Israel.
Back in 1986, Biden told the Senate that Israel is “the best $3 billion investment we make.”
“Were there not an Israel, the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect our interests in the region,” Biden asserted.

President Donald Trump on Sunday tweeted interviews from South Carolina Sen Lindsey Graham and Texas Sen Ted Cruz who both made claims of election fraud during the presidential election.
Trump's first tweet was of a segment featuring Cruz that aired on Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures. In the clip, Cruz claimed that the Republican Party is 'hearing lots of allegations of a dead person voted'.
Twitter flagged both videos, noting at the bottom that their claims about election fraud 'is disputed'.
Cruz said Republicans heard that in one Michigan county, election software mistakenly counted 6,000 votes that were cast for Donald Trump and switched them for Joe Biden.
'Now they apparently they caught that but that same software is used in 47 counties throughout Michigan. That needs to be examined to determine that there's not a problem counting the votes. And the legal process is how you resolve those questions.
'One of the frustrating things just as an American watching this is you hear all of these allegations of what's going on and it's hard to know what the facts are.
'Well we have a process for ascertaining the truth… and in this case could very easily end up at the US Supreme Court,' Cruz said.

Pollsters were projecting that they would all be out of business if they got another election wrong… so, THEY MUST BE RIGHT! Right?
News networks don’t vote. They don’t count votes and they don’t certify elections in this country. They only issue “projections,” just like they issue pollster “projections” ahead of the elections.
But all of their “projections” are all based on the counting of “illegal votes” in numerous states. Most notably, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Arizona and Nevada. When these so-called “news outlets” rarely even mentioned the term “fraud,” it was usually accompanied by the term “conspiracy theory” and often discounted by their uneducated opinion that “there is no such evidence.”
However, despite massive efforts by all social media giants to shut down all voices not on-board the Biden train, a flood of video, audio, credible eye witness accounts and “whistleblowers” are circulating the globe via those platforms. The “news media” can deny the evidence for a while, but not forever. Sooner or later, that evidence flooding the internet is going to bury every single denier who claims to be an honest journalist, and every network with them.

Affidavits: Detroit Ballot Tabulators Entered Names of Non-Voters During Count
Two observers who were at the TCF Center in Detroit during the absentee ballot counting process have produced affidavits claiming they witnessed workers create new voter files with information obtained from ballots.
Bob Cushman, who was an appointed and trained Republican poll challenge, wrote in an affidavit:
The main list of persons who had registered to vote on or before November 1, 2020, was listed on an electronic poll book, often referred to as the QVF. As I understand it, the Supplemental Sheets were the lists of persons who had registered to vote on November 2, 2020 or November 3, 2020.
I observed that none of the names on these new ballots were on the QVF or the Supplemental Sheets.
I saw the computer operators at several counting boards manually adding the names and addresses of these thousands of ballots to the QVF system.
When I asked what the possible justification was to counting ballots from unknown, unverified “persons”, I was told by election supervisors that the Wayne County Clerk’s Office had “checked them out.”
I challenged not one ballet, but the entire process as the names were not in the Poll Books or Supplemental Sheets and because the DOB’s were all wrong, all being marked as 01-01-1900.
“Every ballot was being fraudulently and manually entered into the Electronic Poll Book (QVF), as having been born on January 1, 1900. This ‘last’ batch of ballots was processed in the 8 PM to 10 PM time frame,” Cushman wrote.
“When I asked about this impossibility of each ballot having the same birthday occurring in 1900, I was told that was the instruction that came down from the Wayne County Clerk’s office.”
Lori Levin, a non-partisan challenger, witnessed similar behavior by workers. According to her affidavit:
The person opening ballots was in the middle of this table and when she would scan the ballot it would not come up in the electronic poll book. I then insisted they had to be in the paper pollbook and I needed to verify. She would hover entirely over the paper pollbook with her body and sometimes check a name and other times not check a name but refused to let me see this. They would then manually enter the name and often a birthdate of 01/01/1900.
Levi told The Kyle Olson Show that she was one of the credentialed observers who was shut out of the TCF Center and blocked from watching through the windows because workers used pizza boxes and other cardboard to cover them.

Curious Bedfellows: The Neocon and Progressive Alliance to Destroy Donald Trump
The Roman poet Ovid’s masterful epic The Metamorphoses includes the memorable opening line regarding the poem’s central theme of transformation. He wrote In nova fert animus mutatas dicere formas corpora, which has been translated as “Of shapes transformed to bodies strange, I purpose to entreat…”
Ovid framed his narrative around gods, heroes and quasi-historical events but if he were around today, he would no doubt be fascinated by the many transformations of the group that has defined itself as neoconservative. The movement began in a cafeteria in City College of New York in the 1930s, where a group of radical Jewish students would meet to discuss politics and developments in Europe. Many of the founders were from the far left, communists of the Trotskyite persuasion, which meant that they believed in permanent global revolution led by a vanguard party. The transformation into conservatives of a neo-persuasion took place when they were reportedly “mugged by reality” into accepting that the standard leftist formulae were not working to transform the world rapidly enough. As liberal hawks, they then hitched their wagon to the power of the United States to bring about transformation by force if necessary and began to infiltrate institutions like the Pentagon to give themselves the tools to achieve their objectives, which included promotion of regime change wars, full spectrum global dominance and unconditional support for Israel.
The neocons initially found a home with Democratic Senator Henry “Scoop” Jackson, but they moved on in the 1970s and 1980s to prosper under Ronald Reagan as well as under Democrat Bill Clinton. Their ability to shape policy peaked under George W. Bush, when they virtually ran the Pentagon and were heavily represented in both the national security apparatus and in the White House. They became adept at selling their mantra of “strong national defense” to whomever was buying, including to President Obama, even while simultaneously complaining about his administration’s “weakness.”
The neoconservatives lined up behind Hillary Clinton in 2016, appalled by Donald Trump’s condemnation of their centerpiece war in Iraq and even more so by his pledge to end the wars in Asia and nation-building projects while also improving relations with the Russians. They worked actively against the Republican candidate both before he was nominated and elected and did everything they could to stop him, including libeling him as a Russian agent.
When Trump was elected, it, therefore, seemed that the reign of the neocons had ended, but chameleonlike, they have changed shape and are now ensconced both in some conservative as well as in an increasing number of progressive circles in Washington and in the media. Against all odds, they have even captured key posts in the White House itself with the naming of John Bolton as National Security Adviser and Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State. Bolton’s Chief of Staff is Fred Fleitz, a leading neocon and Islamophobe while last week Trump added Iran hawk Richard Goldberg to the National Security Council as director for countering Iranian weapons of mass destruction. Goldberg is an alumnus of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, which is the leading neocon think tank calling incessantly for war with Iran.

Former Obama officials Morell, Haines likely candidates for Biden spy jobs - sources
Two former senior U.S. intelligence officials - Michael Morell and Avril Haines - have emerged as leading contenders to serve as Director of National Intelligence or run the CIA in President-elect Joe Biden’s administration, several current and former intelligence officials said.
Morell served as the Central Intelligence Agency’s deputy director in the Obama Administration between 2010 and 2013, and during that time also served two stints as acting agency director.
Haines, served as CIA deputy director and as President Barack Obama’s deputy national security advisor, said the sources.
Haines declined to comment and Morell could not be reached for comment. A spokesman for Biden’s transition team declined to comment.
Some former Democratic aides have raised concerns about Haines and Morell because they served at CIA when the agency used “enhanced interrogation” techniques on suspected Islamist militants, practices that a Senate Intelligence Committee investigation have labeled as torture.
Other names being discussed by both Democratic Party and intelligence officials as possible candidates for Director of National Intelligence include Michael Leiter, a former DNI official and former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, a branch of the DNI’s office, and Mike Rogers, a former Republican Congressman who chaired the House Intelligence Committee, the sources said.
