Two King County sheriff's deputies shot in Woodinville area

One person was killed and two King County Sheriff's Office deputies were shot during an incident Monday afternoon at a Woodinville apartment complex, authorities said.

One of the deputies was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where the deputy was listed in satisfactory condition. The other deputy was transported to EvergreenHealth Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

Information about the condition of the deputies was pending.

The incident occurred at the Beaumont apartments, located at 14001 NE 183rd Street, in Woodinville.

Officials have not yet provided any information about the suspect or said why there deputies were at the apartment complex building.
