If anyone is interested in finding out their own state's voting equipment, here is the sight:

Although news articles have mentioned Dominion in 30 states, I fear it is many more. Just found out my state is same as parts of Illinois! I suspect that doesn't bode well for me. Please be aware of company mergers.

Here is something interesting about the AccuVote OS model in my state. They did a study back in 2010 about implementing these optical scanners and tabulators. Funny thing happened - they noticed some of the memory cards failed at a higher rate in 2008 as compared to 2006. The cards were literally wiped clean. Hmmmmmmm…… look what they had to say:

For the purpose of this study, 105 memory cards for the AccuVote Optical Scan (AV-OS) system

were retained from the November 2008 elections in Connecticut. 55 of these cards were identified

as the cards that lost their data. The remaining 50 cards formed the control group consisting of

cards that did not fail during the same election.

Now I guess you can call me a cynic, but how interesting these memory cards are wiped clean after electronically sending their totals in roughly 50% of the cards during Obama's first time running for President.

In fairness to the study done, they blamed it on battery failure, even when the low battery indicator didn't appear. Now I'll give you 3 guesses as to the possible reason, but the first 2 won't count - pun intended.
