Esper fired - Barr decides to launch investigations because he now knows the Insurrection Act is on the table with Christopher Miller. Barr's new problem becomes how to stall these investigations.

If Barr decides to stall:

Haspel and Wray are fired

This will create Barr's last chance to do this peacefully without the Insurrection Act and him going to jail as well.

BB decides if America is gonna have Insurrection Act or not. I think he'll move forward after Wray and Haspel. Or BB himself and all of DOJ personnel are done. Treason done.
