This is already under deep consideration. Try walking late at night, every night for months at a time. Somehow streets can be quiet w/o cars for 30min, but as soon as I get to an intersection it becomes rush-hour traffic and I invariably almost get run over. (Possibly also dead) Spouse anon now walks with me and observes the same. Matrix level coincidences if you pay attention.

The hard truth is that if any of this is remotely true (and I believe it is). The military would be obliged to take the most definitive action possible. We are after-all a Nuclear power with the ability to annihilate ourselves and everyone else. Nothing should be off the table when fixing this corruption.
