We need prison reform. As it is now prisons are like no-frills hotels. They need to be Gulag like - no TV, no University studies on taxpayer dime, grow your own food or starve plantations.

Redefine what a punishable-deserves-prison crime is and take SERCO out of the prison for profit equation needs to be part of the reform. Nuisance crimes won’t get you the Gulag. But there needs to be a Gulag as a deterrent. This goes for the Bernie Maddoff crowd too.
