Gen X, of which I'm a part, had the luxury of experiencing the birth of the internet. Previous generations had maybe three channels and almost no resources with which they could research and fact check. They were taught by their parents never to question state authority, and grew up in that environment. The woke people of that generation were kept completely out of public view.
I say woke but mean "red-pilled"
I'm not saying there were no people who did…I'm merely pointing out that during those times resources were not available like we have today which could lead more people to question the public narrative, and so it's pointless to characterize an entire generation as somehow defective because of that.
