I think you're being a little optimistic.
Reagan v Mondale was a fairly textbook landslide, and while I don't really trust any official numbers any more, I do know that 60-40 is a LOT more lop-sided than we tend to think, and Reagan didn't even officially achieve that.
80-20 is a really, really hard majority opinion to get from the general public on virtually anything, and I know far too many real-life people (granted, loaded with NPC's) who hate Trump.
Even 55-45 is probably considered a landslide.
