Fauci Responds to Trump’s Veiled Threat to Fire Him After 2020 Election: ‘I Hope Not…We All Want This Pandemic to End’

The 2020 Election has come to an end, and as President Donald Trump continues to challenge the results in the aftermath of his defeat, Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked to respond to the president’s threat to try and get him fired. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director gave a broad-range interview to MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Tuesday, stressing the continued importance of mask-wearing and voicing confidence in Pfizer’s development of a coronavirus vaccine. Eventually, Mitchell brought up one of the last campaign rallies Trump had before November 3rd, where the president responded to “fire Fauci” chants by telling the crowd “let me wait until after the election.”

“Do you have any concerns that he may be pressuring [National Institutes of Health director] Francis Collins in the near future to try to fire you?” Mitchell asked. “I hope not,” Fauci responded. “I don’t think that would be helpful to the common goal of all of us, no matter who you are, regardless of administration. We all want this pandemic to end. My entire activity, every minute of my life right now is devoted to trying to end this pandemic, so I would hope that I’m allowed to continue to do that because I think I do it well. I’ve been doing it for many, many years, and I’ve done it under many different circumstances including six administrations.” Fauci went on by saying he attended the latest White House coronavirus task force meeting, which he described as productive and focused on continued vaccine development.

Lawsuit: US Rep Sues Dallas Elections Department For Refusing GOP Poll Watchers In Texas

'Repeat violations of ballot counting procedures' lead to a lawsuit against the Dallas County Elections Office.

On Monday, U.S. Rep. Lance Gooden announced a lawsuit filed against the Dallas County Elections Office, alleging that the office refused to comply with local law and allow Republican Party poll watchers to observe the vote counting process. ‘Repeat violations of ballot counting procedures’ which includes preventing Republicans from being present during the mail-in ballot tallying process lead to a lawsuit against the Dallas County Elections Office. “Voters deserve to see how their ballots are counted,” Gooden said in a statement provided to the press. “Democrat-run governments on every level will do anything to tip the scales in their favor. We’re not going to let them get away with it.” The lawsuit is going straight to the Supreme Court of Texas which is rare, but under the circumstances and the need for urgencies in a verdict this case isn’t being presented to lower courts first.

The Texas republican poll watchers have on numerous occasion not only been denied access to view the mail-in ballot counting, but have been removed from the premises entirely by force from local law enforcement. These issues are all being addressed in the current lawsuit citing Texas Election Code violations. The lawsuit brought forth by Gooden, and Rodney Anderson specifically addresses three main points of contention. II.ISSUES PRESENTED

1- May a judge refuse to accept an eligible poll watcher for service contrary to Texas Election Code § 33.051, and otherwise prevent watchers from entering a location where election activity is occurring in violation of § 33.056 of the Texas Election Code?7

2- Is an election judge who prevents a poll watcher from observing election activity obstructing a watcher as referenced in § 33.061 of the Texas Election Code?8

3- May a civil action for enforcement of election duties lie with § 273.061 of the Texas Election Code9 concurrently with the existence of a criminal penalty in §33.061?10

“Unfortunately, those who question the process are often immediately labeled as ‘sore losers. This is not about winning or losing – this is about speaking out for what is right. I’m grateful to my constituents for re-electing me to serve another term in Congress, and I feel an even greater responsibility to fight voter fraud,” says the statement from Gooden concerning the lawsuit in Texas. “Voters deserve to see how their ballots are counted. Democrat-run governments on every level will do anything to tip the scales in their favor. We’re not going to let them get away with it.” Additionally, the lawsuit brought forth by Gooden and Anderson seek to rectify the decision made by the 5th Circuit of Appeals made during Bickham v. Dallas County. The ruling dictates that there will not be any criminal penalties in responses to violators of Section 273. Someone who has the capacity to violate Section 273 is able to evade criminal penalty.

They agreed because it was their actions of overriding Alito's ruling for the mail in ballots that caused this chaos in the first place. They has a responsibility when the case of allowing mail in ballots beyond the prescribe SCOTUS ruling to be overturned to send it back to PA legislator, where they could make the law themselves. Instead the PA Supremes created Law which is not the charge or their oath. They are charged with upholding the laws and constitution of the state and the US..not Creating.

This will without a doubt end up in SCOTUS again with Alito and the other Justices.
