I've been noticing this too, just how over-the-top angry they all are. Their guy "won" right? None of them truly believe it, they all know they had to cheat to win and it inevitably will not stand up.

They'rethisnasty as winners. Imagine what they'll be like in a few weeks.

Newcomers have worn out their welcome over the past 5 years, the growing pains are now too much for even the most open-minded native Texans. They're just going to keep coming, and I am under no obligation to be polite to them or hide my disdain.

>but I thought Texans were supposed to be nice

Not to hordes of invading carpetbaggers we're not.

I agree, but unfortunately I don't see the mad dash of corporate relocation to stop anytime soon. There's simply too much money flying around, and most of it not going into the pockets of the people that already lived here. Austin is a perfect example of this; economy is entirely centered around out of state tech companies with most well-paying jobs going to out of staters. Most native Austinites I know with good jobs had to move around the country to find them, and the ones that didn't just work shit service jobs. These companiesrecruitfrom out of state, these people come here with huge stacks of cash from just selling their overinflated houses on the coasts, buy up everything here and essentially have made the entire metro area unaffordable to the people who were already here.

I know all the multi-millionaire meatheads like Rogan want to pretend like shit like this isn't happening or that they aren't contributing to it, but they are. And we aren't happy about it. The spirit of Texas is being diluted so fast that it will just be a cheap California knock-off within 5 years' time. I now can't afford to live in my hometown and I now have to compete with the entire country for anything above slave wages, so fuck literally everyone who's moved here in the past 15 years. Actually go fuck yourselves.

>we need a solid MAGA team in Austin

We need the political equivalent of a pressure wash here.

>marginalized as second class citizens long term

This is exactly what it feels like, being a 2nd class citizen in your homeland. What I assume Caribbean natives feel when they see silver-haired old Americans in golf carts leisurely strolling around the luxury country club that stands where the neighborhood you grew up in used to be.
