Been there, did that and you don’t see shit that bad as a surgeon. Some injuries are still intentional - the ones that bad don’t get to the hospital.
Even bad traumas - it’s accidental. No underlying malign intent. It’s the intent behind those images that gets me.
So go for it - wonderful work but it takes over your life - I left cos I ended up with no life outside the hospital.
