Question for you lawfag. Do you know of any state that has a constitution or law that even allows a presidential rerun or runoff? The states have discretion to run their elections how they want provided they meet the constitutional deadlines. But I don't know of any state that could even do a new election for president

This. No state should force electors to vote a particular way. It's bad enough that some states require electors to vote for the state's leading vote getter.

 

But some states are pushing for electors to be forced to vote for the nationwide popular vote winner. That has to be unconstitutional because it disenfranchises the state's own citizens
