Been thinking about Trump's nickname for Joe Biden - Sleepy Joe.

It was an odd one. Crooked kind of makes sense, for HRC, and conjures up images of Witches and Crooks. But Sleepy?

There are a million other pejoratives that would have been more effective. For instance, Creepy Joe. Gropey Joe. Sniffy Joe. Take your pick.

But "Sleepy" Joe? Everyone gets tired and sleepy, especially older people. It doesn't quite have that image or that edge. So why did he choose this particular nickname for him?

It hit me a couple days ago.

Someone who is Sleepy will inevitably "fall asleep" at some point.

"Fall asleep" is also a euphemism for dying.

Joe's role is to "fall asleep" so he can be replaced, and Trump has been signalling this for the longest time.
