Can confirm. I installed Mint on an old laptop that still had Windows Vista. Mint works great. No problems. Another old laptop with Windows 7 got a Mint install as well. Fuck Windows.

I got infected with the "Chernobyl" virus back in college, and that was without doing stupid shit like opening unknown files sent in e-mails. Friend of mine down the hall helped me reinstall Windows 98. I've been paranoid about spyware / computer safety since that point.
Already there, Frens. Been using Linux Mint for tens years and counting. Recently I finally got my wife to make the switch as well.
