What happens when someone absolutely based, who does exactly all of the things you want done? Do you want them limited to just two years or some shit, where the vast majority of what they intend to do could easily just be stalled indefinitely by people contending them?

Again, I think your aim is a removal of profit incentives, not necessarily term limit reduction.

Frankly, I don't hate the idea. a ten year term is absurd no matter how you cut it, but you're suggesting the new rule based on all of the shitty politicians you've encountered.

How might you feel once one gets in there that you adore, like Rand or Ron, for instance?

Those two have been absolute rocks and without them, I worry what would have become of the political landscape in their stead.

It's sad to see the days of not needing to ask for sauce long gone.

Too many are too lazy these days and think sauce should always be provided to them, all while they've never tried to find it.

It's sad. We've been spoonfeeding the normies for far too long.

See, I'm just not really convinced still.

I can see all of the positives and negatives, but I just don't see the positives of term limits outweighing negatives, particularly since we haven't really seen any based politicians in the last few decadesโ€ฆ or at least any I'm aware of.

Anymore, it seems like the more replies a post get, especially if they're negative, the more interesting a post gets.

There are some "anons"/shills that gatekeep topics here hardcore. It's painfully obvious when someone, somewhere is heavily invested in certain ideas not being spread or realizations not being reached.

I'm still continually surprised that [they] have no recognition of the Streisand Effect.

I'm glad you guys took the initiative to start publishing things.

Good work.

Have you tried not responding to the obvious trolls as much?

It's not like I don't do it too, but if you're baking, you should just keep cool and let the blows slide off of you.

>educating the public

Most are apathetic as shit when it comes to politics.

The only thing that would keep the slow drip of enthusiasm on is by shattering their world view ever decade or so.

Should we really set out to capture Norman's attention with a negative feedback loop that forces them to vigilance such that it provides a legitimate reason to have term limits?

The competent protect the ignorant already. Our issue is Democracy, methinks.

But explain what Nimrod is, outside of just being a hunter.

This doesn't offer enough of a foundation for them.

I don't disagree, Reddit.

What if you guys are all wrong and after we fix corruption and eliminate profit incentives in politics, all term limits do is stifle exponential positive growth socially?
