CA here too. My vote was cast on tablet styled machine. Paper put into slot printed out and ejected for quick view showing how you voted. Name DOB and address on top of printed ballot. Machine asked you to press button after viewing to cast ballot. Tablet instructed voter NOT to take pictures. On the way out of the polling station “I voted” sticker seems to be receipt.
