Trump purposely told the Senate Republicans, behind the curtains, to make it look like you won't let me get anybody appointed to the FEC.

He knew that if he appointed a strong cadre of good honest people to the FEC, the election fraudsters would adopt more secretive ways of fucking up the election, some things that even the NSA could not discover easily - while the cat's away, the mice will play - in other words, to let the fraudsters feel free to fuck around without oversight.
