No joke, I heard someone explain their theory to me. It's hilarious.
After hanging out with tons of black people at work and after work, for months, wondering what the hell it is, why they speak the way they do, he claims, he realized that they don't move their lips when they talk. They move their lips as little as possible. I posit that if that's the case, it's due to laziness or lack of discipline that carries over into their speech.
So they come up with new words that fit their motor function capabilities or lack thereof.
