I would say this.
There is an identifiable GOP subset that specifically did not vote straight ticket and chose Biden over Trump.
It's really not that odd.
There is one weird dot. High GOP % of straight ticket. And Trump outperforming. One weird dot.
I would expect that if you're comparing GOP straight ticket to "everyone else" I would think that when GOP straight ticket is very high - 70% - Trump - and every other GOP candidate - would do worse than that 70%.
That's what I would think is normal.
When GOP straight ticket is very low - 10% - I would think that Trump and every other GOP candidate would do better than that 10%.
That's what I would think is normal.
