Yes. Here’s what I do. I picture the dark spirits, force, thoughts as black pieces of paper. One by one I mentally crumple them up and throw them into a wastebasket. When it’s really bad, I mentally picture myself throwing in a match. If you’re a visuospatial person like me, try it, or a variant. Conversely, if you want to revisit those thoughts, you can file them into a “to do” pile and sort through later when you’re feeling stronger. HTH. You are not alone. I feel it too.
