Jeanette Manfra, a senior cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security, will join Google's (Nasdaq: GOOGL) cloud business in January as global director of security and compliance, CyberScoop reported Wednesday.
The report said Manfra will help spearhead a Google initiative aimed at helping customer secure cloud-based systems and services.
Her move to rejoin the private sector comes after the technology company received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program High authorization for its cloud platform.
