Jeanette Manfra, assistant director for cybersecurity at DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, is leaving her post at the end of the year, a CISA official confirmed to Fifth Domain. In a tweet, Manfra described the time as CISA as “one of my greatest honors.”

Jeanette Manfra, a senior cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security, will join Google's (Nasdaq: GOOGL) cloud business in January as global director of security and compliance, CyberScoop reported Wednesday.

 

The report said Manfra will help spearhead a Google initiative aimed at helping customer secure cloud-based systems and services.

 

Her move to rejoin the private sector comes after the technology company received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program High authorization for its cloud platform.
