I've seen these chinooks in my AO recently, I live about 2 hours from any post or base. I do most of my work outdoor with the county, and I can't recall in my 3+ years here to have ever seen one.

They're flying low as well, seemingly to stay off grid...tried to locate them on ADS-B but not surprised that I can't...
