was forced to wade through Foucault, Derrida and Lacan, etc., a total pile of crap in my book, useless for classroom investigation. To my great surprise, and putting me totally at odds with my thesis supervisor, I found that the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein with his concept of “language games” actually provided me with the most useful analytical tools.

Much of the research involved observing second-language speakers, so I made a special study of the influence of “mother tongue” language development and second-language learning.

I haven’t checked to see what the current orthodoxy says, but I can tell you that there was one and only one research finding that was of any relevance at the time. This finding was clear across the board. The more secure a child was in their mother tongue, the better was all their future learning, and all their future language development, including learning foreign languages. And everything I have seen since then confirms this finding. In general, a strong foundation in the mother tongue is the basis for all learning.

The idea that you teach a child in a different language every day — each different to the mother tongue — is one of the most stupid and abusive practices I’ve ever heard of in early education. I am 100% certain that every single child that went through this program will show clear signs of cognitive damage and language deficiency. How Raniere was able to get away with this appalling experiment on children is quite beyond me, and it really shows the power of cult thinking.

Get this straight: I believe deeply in freedom in education, that people should be able to teach their children as they wish, as long as the basic laws of the land are not broken, in terms of abuse, child labor, coercion, etc. Rainbow Cultural Gardens provide a really clear test case because there were multiple laws broken by this cult, including human trafficking, sexual grooming and rape of children, and savage mental torture and confinement of young victims.

Pennsylvania Election Judge: Dozens of Blank Ballots Missing From End of Day Count at One County Precinct on Election Day

An election judge in Washington County, Pennsylvania has come forward with a troubling story of dozens of missing ballots in the precinct she served as a judge on election day. Julianna Helby told her story of the missing ballots to Paul Kengor of the American Spectator who included her report in his article on the Pennsylvania presidential election, Why Pennsylvania Doesn’t Add Up – Mail-in ballots take on a life of their own, published Friday.

The Washington County elections website reports President Trump won the county with 71,375 votes to 44,712 for Joe Biden with all 180 precincts reporting.

Washington County is located just southwest of Allegheny County/Pittsburgh, on the border with Ohio.

Kengor says Helby reported the missing ballots to authorities. Helby says she believes the ballots were not taken at the precinct but rather the packages the ballots arrived from county election headquarters already shorted about twenty ballots each.

I was contacted by Julianna Heiby, the judge of elections for a precinct in Washington County near the Allegheny County border. She reached out to me because she witnessed activity that she believes might constitute “fraudulent actions.” She has reported this information to the authorities.

“The county provided us with blank ballots for use in the voting machines,” Julianna told me. “After voting, the ballots are counted in the ballot box. The number of voters who signed our poll books matched the number of ballots cast: 1254 for our precinct.” As judge of elections, “one of my tasks at the end of the night is to account for all the ballots. We are told how many ballots are packaged in our equipment. We were, supposedly, given 2250 ballots, packaged into three bundles of 750 each. One bundle was used completely. One bundle was still sealed at the end of the night. Of the partially used package, 205 remained.” Her math: “We cast 1254 ballots on Tuesday. 1500 – 1254 = 246.”

As of Friday afternoon, Biden was reported to have a lead of about 60,000 votes in Pennsylvania, or about 0.8 percent.

Policy adopted by Facebook, Google in response to Dem pressure could end up hurting Democrats in Georgia Senate races

In response to pressure from liberals who were concerned about the spread of "misinformation" on the social media platform, Facebook and Google announced in October that they would place a "temporary pause" on all political advertising on Facebook beginning on the evening of Election Day, and continuing for an undetermined amount of time while the election results remained contested.

Of course, the controversy over the election continues to drag on, and social media companies have continued to face pressure from liberal groups to take action against what they claim are a number of false statements coming from the Trump campaign regarding the results of the election.

So, in order to mollify the complainants, Facebook announced Wednesday that it would continue the moratorium on all political advertising for an unspecified additional period of time, presumably to prevent the Trump campaign from buying advertising encouraging people to contribute to his efforts to contest the election. Google also made a similar announcement earlier this week.

While it might seem that the tech giants had pushed all the right buttons to respond to liberal complaints, now they have a new one: The advertising ban might hurt Democratic candidates in the Georgia Senate runoff races that will determine who holds final control of the upper chamber in Congress.

Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff is facing off against incumbent Republican David Perdue, and Democrat Raphael Warnock is going against incumbent Republican Kelly Loeffler in the Jan. 5 runoffs.

Liberal online publication Vox was one publication that was critical of Facebook's failure to allow Georgia candidates to advertise on their race while Facebook's ban remains ongoing. Vox claimed that Facebook's plan was "backfiring," and then listed a litany of complaints about Facebook's failure to even more aggressively target conservative content:

The frustration with Facebook's handling of the election extends well beyond its political ad policy. Democrats and others have condemned the social media platform for enabling viral misinformation. The Biden campaign, in particular, has criticized Facebook's approach, which often involves applying mealy-mouthed labels to content rather than removing posts that push conspiracy theories about voter fraud and sow doubt in the election.

Facebook responded to complaints about including the Georgia Senate runoff race in their advertising ban with a post from Facebook's director of product management that was posted on Twitter.

Vox further claimed that "Critics quickly pointed out that Facebook, which is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, has had years and a seemingly endless supply of resources to build this feature."

A spokesperson for the Ossoff campaign, in a remark that was clearly disconnected with reality, went so far as to implausibly accuse tech companies of "putting their fingers on the scale for millionaire Republican candidates." A spokesperson from Raphael Warnock, who is running in the other Georgia runoff race, said that the companies' decision to not allow advertising for the Georgia race amounted to "voter suppression."

Democrats are expected to spend heavily on advertising in both Georgia races in order to help a potential Biden agenda avoid gridlock in Congress. If either Republican incumbent wins their runoff races, Republicans will maintain control of the Senate and will likely block any significant liberal agenda items from becoming legislation.

Anti-Trump Syria Envoy Now Admits Successors Should Follow Trump Foreign Policy

A formerly “Never Trump” Syria envoy who admitted to lying to the President about the number of American troops in Syria now insists his successors should follow his approach to the Middle East.

“Trump’s administration, he said, has looked at the Middle East through a geostrategic lens and kept its focus on Iran, Russia, and China, while keeping the metastatic “disease” of Islamist terror in check,” the former Syria envoy noted.

The individual in question, Jim Jeffrey, a career ambassador of the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, revealed his routine deception of President Trump and his advisers in an exit interview with Defense One.

The piece, “Outgoing Syria Envoy Admits Hiding US Troop Numbers; Praises Trump’s Mideast Record” reveals that Jeffrey would play “shell games to not make clear to our leadership how many troops we had there,” referencing Syria:

He acknowledges that his team routinely misled senior leaders about troop levels in Syria.

“We were always playing shell games to not make clear to our leadership how many troops we had there,” Jeffrey said in an interview. The actual number of troops in northeast Syria is “a lot more than” the roughly two hundred troops Trump initially agreed to leave there in 2019.

Despite the President’s efforts to withdraw troops from Syria, Jeffrey insisted “There was never a Syria withdrawal.”

“When the situation in northeast Syria had been fairly stable after we defeated ISIS, [Trump] was inclined to pull out. In each case, we then decided to come up with five better arguments for why we needed to stay. And we succeeded both times. That’s the story,” he emphasized – a clear threat to the chain of command.

Jeffrey, however, insists that the “incoming Biden administration stick with Trump’s foreign policy in the Middle East,” noting “Trump’s “modest” and transactional approach to the Middle East has yielded a more stable region than either of his predecessors’ more transformational policies.”

“Jeffrey believes Trump has achieved a kind of political and military “stalemate” in a number of different cold and hot conflicts, producing a situation that is about the best any administration could hope for in such a messy, volatile region,” he continued.

Sara Carter: Once we give up the Constitution, we’ll have nothing left.

On Sunday’s airing of “The Next Revolution,” Sara A. Carter explained the battle the left is waging on America, saying that the American people must fight to uphold the constitution in order to save the country and the world.

“We have to realize that we’re in a battle,” Carter told host Steve Hilton. “This isn’t a battle just against Trump. And I’ve said this before to you, Steve, this is a battle against the American people that voted for Trump against the establishment.”

She continued, “The establishment is what wants to stop this. They are trying to teach everyone a lesson, and unfortunately, the establishment has a mainstream media on their side that is working in conjunction with them.”

Concluding her statement, Carter explained the American values at stake and said if the Constitution isn’t sustained, then the United States of America and the world will have ‘nothing left.’

“It’s up to us as Americans to stand up, to stand up to that in such a way peacefully and defend our Constitution because she is the one thing that we have..,” Carter explained. “Once we give that up, if we allow the Democrats to trample that Constitution and rip it apart, we have nothing left. And, guess what, the rest of the world has nothing left either because there is no place on this planet like the United States of America.”

Obama Blames Lib Strategist Steve Schmidt for Ruining Politics

Shlub who spearheaded Palin nomination grifted millions from lib donors in 2020

Liberal strategist and Lincoln Project cofounder Steve Schmidt is perhaps single-handedly responsible for the political success of Donald Trump and the breakdown in American political discourse.

That is the assessment of former president Barack Obama, who argues in his forthcoming memoir that John McCain's nomination of Sarah Palin to be his running mate in 2008 was a pivotal moment in American politics that unleashed an irreversible tide of ignorance and racism.

"Through Palin, it seemed as if the dark spirits that had long been lurking on the edges of the modern Republican Party—xenophobia, anti intellectualism, paranoid conspiracy theories, an antipathy toward Black and brown folks—were finding their way to center stage," Obama writes in A Promised Land, the first volume of his third memoir.

Palin's elevation within the Republican Party, Obama argues, "would provide a template for future politicians, shifting [McCain's] party's center and the country's politics overall in a direction he abhorred."

In fact, Schmidt is largely responsible for the decision to nominate Palin. Prior to becoming a lib, Schmidt worked as a senior adviser on McCain's presidential campaign, where his tireless advocacy on Palin's behalf ultimately persuaded McCain to make her his running mate.

As the New York Times reported in 2012: "It was Mr. Schmidt who first championed Sarah Palin as Mr. McCain’s running mate, a bold move, he told Mr. McCain, that could win him the White House."

Schmidt went on to become an MSNBC contributor, where he appears as a "Republican strategist" who regurgitates liberal orthodoxy. In 2019, he cofounded the Lincoln Project, a liberal super PAC that raised millions of dollars by producing #Resistance pornography for deranged libs.

The Lincoln Project routinely boasted about the political impact its edgy ads were having on the 2020 election, often deploying the hashtag #LincolnProjectEffect in an effort to convince liberal donors that their money was being spent wisely.

It wasn't. The Lincoln Project talked a big game about its effort to unseat incumbent GOP senators in 2020 and spent about $12 million on seven key races in support of Democratic candidates. In the end, the Lincoln Project went an abysmal 0-7 in those races, only one of which was even close.
