I was merely curious because I'm a coin collector and use metal sensing technology to locate old lost coins. Sooo, naturally that picture was piquing my interest, just took me a while to ask about it, I guess.
I am not so sure that is a Roman coin. It's quite possibly much older.
If it's actually in your possession, you may consider showing it to a professional historian. It could turn out to be extremely valuable.
