Detroit council gave $1 million to poll worker firm tied to jailed ex-Mayor, used in other elections

Just the News has uncovered that the City of Detroit awarded a $1 million contract to P.I.E. Management, LLC to hire up to 2,000 workers to work the polls and staff the ballot counting machines.

The firm is owned by William Phillips, a long-time advisor to ex-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who is currently serving a 28-year sentence on federal corruption-related charges.

Also worth knowing, Kwame Kilpatrick was declared the loser in the 2005 Detroit mayoral election but was later certified as the winner after a batch of absentee ballots arrived late into election night, pushing Kilpatrick to victory.

William Phillips was a senior level advisor to Kilpatrick's campaign in that election.

Pelosi Defends Holding Large Dinner for Incoming Members as Dems Move to Cancel Thanksgiving

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) defended holding a large dinner for incoming members as Democrat leaders across the country urge Americans to cancel their traditional Thanksgiving plans to combat the Chinese coronavirus.

“House Dem and GOP leaders are holding respective dinners for new members,” NBC News correspondent Leigh Ann Caldwell reported, providing a photo of several tables.

Pelosi reportedly defended the dinner, citing the “enhanced ventilation” of the room and touting the approval of the Capitol physician.

“It’s very spaced,” Pelosi added:

The news aroused confusion and questions from critics, many of whom wondered how Democrats — who tend to be in favor of restrictions — could justify holding such an event, as some of their leaders across the country urge Americans to cancel their Thanksgiving plans.

“If the Capitol Hill physician signed off on this, he is dangerously misinformed. How is this modeling good behavior in the lead up to Thanksgiving. @SpeakerPelosi change your mind on this right now,” one user wrote. “It is beyond reckless.”

“But seriously, terrible. And sets an awful example when you’re asking families not to get together for Thanksgiving. Find another creative way to welcome new folks, just as all companies are having to do with new employees,” another said. “I can’t fathom who approved this asinine idea.”

“The rest of us are going to have sad little Thanksgivings without our families, but you do you, I guess,” another added:

De Blasio tells New Yorkers: Get ready for schools to close Monday, through the end of November​

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio warned New Yorkers on Friday that the city may shut down all public schools Monday and advised parents to have a contingency plan for child care and education through at least the end of November.

In spite of instituting harsh lockdown measures, and in spite of repeated virtue-signaling from de Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo that New York "follows the science," New York has continually struggled with coronavirus outcomes. New York has had the second highest coronavirus death rate in the country (behind only New Jersey, whose coronavirus restrictions have been even more strict), and bleating from Cuomo and de Blasio about the allegedly superior way that their state has "followed the science" relative to states led by Republican governors has not stopped the Empire State from facing a second wave of coronavirus cases.

In fact, it is exactly that second wave that has provided the impetus for de Blasio to argue that New York City should reinstitute measures — like school closings — that didn't prevent the second wave from occurring in the first place. According to de Blasio, since the infection rate in New York is approaching 3 percent, parents should prepare for schools to close on Monday.

"This is not something that any parent wants to have to deal with, but we should get ready," de Blasio said, according to the New York Post. The New York Daily News added that "Parents should have a plan for the rest of the month of November. I think that's the safe way to think about it, have an alternative plan beginning as early as Monday."

If the city does hit the 3 percent infection threshold, de Blasio stated, "There are options that will be available [for child care] if we get to that point." The Daily News noted that these options include "learning bridges programs, which provide free childcare for kids in grades 3k to the 8th grade" and would remain open as well as "children in pre-k and 3k programs run by community-based groups."

It was not immediately clear why any of those programs would be safer, from a public health standpoint, than schools.

The Daily News also noted that de Blasio has been criticized for maintaining that schools should be shut down if the city reaches a 3 percent infection threshold, even though "coronavirus cases in public schools themselves have remained relatively low."

De Blasio has seen his approval ratings plummet this year in New York City, as well as his ratings on his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

One Third Of Biden's Pentagon Transition Team Funded By Weapons Industry

Earlier this week Joe Biden released a list of transition teams for the various departments in his future White House. The Pentagon transition team for Biden consists of 23 people, many of whom hail from hawkish think tanks.

The team is led by Kathleen Hicks, who worked in the Pentagon under the Obama administration. Hicks most recent employer is the Cen­ter for Strate­gic and Inter­na­tion­al Stud­ies (CSIS), a think tank that receives contributions from arms makers like Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon, to name a few.

CSIS also receives contributions from governments. The think tank’s top government donors are the US, the UAE, Taiwan, and Japan. Two other CSIS employees are on the transition team; Andrew Hunter and Melissa Dalton, who both worked in the Pentagon under the Obama administration.

CSIS employees author policy papers and Op-Eds that generally call for more US involvement around the world. In August, Hicks co-authored an Op-Ed in The Hill titled, "Pentagon Action to Withdraw from Germany Benefits Our Adversaries," a piece that slammed Trump’s plan to draw down troops from Germany, which Biden could to call off.

Two members of the transition team come from the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), Susanna Blume, a former Pentagon employee, and Ely Ratner, who served as deputy national security advisor to then-vice president Joe Biden from 2015 to 2017.

CNAS is another think tank that enjoys hefty donations from weapons makers, major corporations, and governments. From 2019 to 2020, CNAS received at least $500,000 from the US State Department and at least $500,000 from Northrop Grumman. Other donors include Google, Facebook, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin. Three more team members list their latest employer as the RAND Corporation, Stacie Pettyjohn, a wargaming expert, Christine Wormuth, who held a few roles in the Obama administration, and Terri Tanielian, a behavioral scientist.

RAND is another hawkish think tank that receives the bulk of its funding from the US government, including the US Army, Air Force, and Department of Homeland Security. RAND is also funded by the UAE, Qatar, and NATO.

Circuit Judge In Crooked Wayne County, MI Ignores Horror Stories From Bullied GOP Poll Challengers…Refuses To Stop Certification of Election Results

In what can only be described as a shocking decision, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Kenny has denied a request to stop the canvassing and certification of Wayne County’s election result, calling sworn affidavits of six GOP poll challengers and a Detroit City Clerk employee whistleblower account, “not credible.”

100 Percent Fed Up – Judge Kenny also rejected poll challengers’ request for an independent audit of the county’s results, citing that state law governs the audit process.

Detroit News – The judge cast doubt on the affidavits of several GOP poll challengers who were present during the absentee counting process, writing that they had not attended an Oct. 29 walkthrough of operations at TCF Center and “did not have a full understanding” of the process.

Former MI State Senator Patrick Colbeck, an aerospace engineer, and author, was a poll challenger at TCF Center. He spoke with The Gateway Pundit publisher Jim Hoft about seeing evidence that the Dominion Voting Systems were connected to the internet.

Judge Kenny completely discounted Colbeck’s incredible claims of illegally connecting the computers in the counting center to the internet, and instead focused on a post he made on his Facebook page where he talked about how Democrats would use COVID as a cover to commit election day fraud, saying that it undermines his credibility as a witness.

“No formal challenges were filed. However, sinister, fraudulent motives were ascribed to the process and the city of Detroit,” Kenny wrote in a Friday opinion. “Plaintiff’s interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible.”

Poll challengers, represented by the Great Lakes Justice Center, requested an independent audit of the Wayne County election results before the scheduled Tuesday completion of certification, a halt to the certification process, an order voiding the county’s results, and a new election in Wayne County.

GOP attorney Zachery Larsen’s affidavit addressed the issue of the GOP poll challengers who were locked out of the process after they left the counting room for lunch. Judge Kenny claimed that Democrat poll challengers were also locked out and that locking out the poll challengers was related COVID and was a capacity issue. I was a poll challenger at the TCF Center and after the doors were locked, we lost about 40% of our GOP poll challengers. Democrat poll challengers and the Democrat agitators whose job it was to attack and distract GOP poll workers, had food and water brought into the counting room and didn’t have to go anywhere to eat lunch. The majority of the Democrats were still in the room while GOP poll challengers had to go to another floor in the TCF Center to get food and water. Upon learning that the GOP poll challengers were locked out, paid election workers and Democrat poll challengers and Democrat agitators erupted in cheers.

Wayne County’s bipartisan board of canvassers is expected to certify the city’s results on Tuesday, followed by a state certification vote on Nov. 23.

The city of Detroit has denied each allegation and said they are proof the plaintiffs “do not understand absent voter ballot processing and tabulating.”

The City of Detroit’s allegation couldn’t be any more inaccurate. The problem is, we did understand how the ballot processing and tabulation worked, and it couldn’t have been more crooked.

Trump Must Out The Deep State

Whether the US 2020 election was truly stolen or not we will likely never know. The president himself doesn’t know since he failed to purge the palace that embarked on the palace coup that has seemingly toppled him.

Booting Mark ‘Raytheon’ Esper after the fact simply highlights this fact.

Now, Mr. Trump will have to put on his thinking cap and grasp the Machiavellian reality of the perverse Washington cesspool he has presided over for nearly four years - and come up with a plan.

Trump can use his deal-making skills to court the Evil Empire’s titular head, but what sort of deal would that be? And if Mr. Trump truly is the visionary and rogue his base believes he is, then he could disembowel the Deep State with an adroit stroke or two instead. However, with Jared Kushner as his top advisor, that’s unlikely.

But if he chose to, how could Mr. Trump out Washington’s Axis of Evil while avenging himself on the Beltway’s swamp creatures?

Well, one major hurdle for Washington’s corrupt coup class is the upcoming government shutdown. The central government runs out of Federal Reserve just-above bog roll – ie funding again – on December 11th. The president must reliably engage Mitch McConnell in withholding any new funding agreement, and since McConnell’s position is secure there is little motivation for him to provide favors now, especially when Trump is supremely vulnerable.

During the pandemic a Trump government shutdown would certainly generate massive public and major media outrage. Likewise, Mr. Trump has been most interested in keeping his promises to the people, so a government shutdown is unlikely to be in the cards.

Another option, Trump could issue executive orders to end the endless US-initiated conflicts in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq. In such a scenario, Congress would have to scramble to keep its wars going. However the new Zombie-head, major media, and US congress would certainly howl to the moon all the while. Even so, Trump could leave office with some satisfaction, knowing that he did what he promised to do, regardless of opposition from the warfare state cancer infesting the Beltway.

The United States funds about 70 percent of NATO’s Cold War dinosaur existence too, with member states contributing the rest. Trump jousted with Esper over NATO, their most significant point of difference. Now the president can defund NATO with an emergency executive order – perhaps on a government shutdown basis? – at a stroke. Like ending America’s endless wars, the new Zombie leader (Biden) major media, and US congress would howl to the moon all the while… and ditto on Trump’s satisfaction.

Now think of all the secrets Trump knows on so many issues, from Huntergate to Russiagate. Trump knows who setup George Papadopoulos and why. He knows about the Steele Dossier. Trump knows the Deep State’s secrets and where the dirty laundry is hidden. If Trump truly were a visionary - as well as a rogue (not to mention patriot) - he could easily out the dirty laundry in one go. But that may be too much, creating risk for himself and his family. A more practical idea would be to covertly get the information out for "plausible denial" release later. All that’s left would be to admit nothing, deny everything, and make counter-accusations.

In such interesting times, Mr. Trump has other options - even seemingly frivolous ones. He could out the facts on Hillary’s emails and the related alleged FBI cover-up; or undermine any deal the Zombie’s regime intends to make with Ghislaine Maxwell in order to protect powerful interests. Trump could even release all the documents, unredacted, on the John F Kennedy assassination, showing that elements within Langley’s unconstitutional Criminal Intelligence Agency were involved and that the assassination was not just the work of a “lone nut” who got lucky.
