You need to watch the movie "White Squall" which is where a lot of the phrases, imagery come from re: Q posts. Basically a white squall is a massive wave that can sink a cruise ship in less than 30 seconds. It happens so fast they don't even see it and generally nobody survives. It was considered mythical. White Squall would be sudden and complete pain for the DS.
